The course is great. The past year the greens have improved greatly. The practice facility is okay. The range isnt that great, but it works. The putting green is nice and is used for chipping as well. Service would be "Excellent," Except one of the main guys is annoying. I dont want to use names, but the course could really be much better if this guy knew how to treat people. He needs to learn some interpersonal skills. Its not Brian or The younger guy (who I think is named Chris). They are great. This guy acts like he is running Augusta National or something. Maybe he should work on getting some Marshalls on the course to speed up play rather than making a big deal out of stupid stuff.

Decent conditions. Fairways are ok. Bunkers are in very poor condition. Some greens have dead spots, but overall theyre fine. The main reason you shouldnt play Quail is the pace of play. Im currently sitting on #10, there are three groups waiting and two groups playing the hole. Course management is not concerned with the pace of play at all. Dont play here unless you have 5 hours to kill.

I live 5 minutes from Quail Ridge, they have great week day rates, especially if you get off work and want to play nine holes. Tough course, greens are in good shape and roll true. Some holes wide open and some holes very tight. Par 5s are reachable for a long hitter. Great challenge, I like it.

Played out there two weeks ago and the greens had lots of spotty poa annua. Plus, the bunkers (and I mean all of them) looked like they had not been raked or tended to since before winter. They were unplayable for the most part. I wont be going back there anytime soon.

Better than most Fun golf course, good layout and good greens. In the Memphis area, when compared to public courses, this course rates as good or better. Call ahead, they often host tournaments.

These guys love junior golfers and always give my son free range balls and let him walk and play for free! Course is well maintained and in a lovely area of bartlett.
