This place is all about the ambiance on a summers day. It is such a beautiful setting outside on the porch sipping some wine and eating a good Italian dinner. Overall 4.2 out of 5 for the wine - very nice wines, nice range of tastes for every palette, you got the tried and true nobles all the way to the American hybrids and of course a few fruit wines to top it off. Nothing "spectacular" per say and the prices have slightly gone the wrong direction since this place has just taken off in popularity (which doesnt surprise me, a place like this was needed so badly around here) 4.5 out of 5 on the food, 3 out of 5 for value - good food, nice upscale feel to it, from pizzas to pasta and steak, everything is cooked right but again here the price doesnt quite match the value. The portions are moderate and the taste is slightly above average, whereas the price can put you around $40 dollars for 2 meals and thats not counting any wine purchases, this is not your everyday haunt. All in all though its the atmosphere that makes this place something special for me, its near where I grew up and the view and the Sunday music and the rows of vines all around the property just make for such a beautiful place to take your special someone and enjoy a beautiful afternoon or evening outside together sipping and eating. I loved this place so much that me and my wife had our reception here and cant tell you how truly well they treated us there for such a special day! Also just wanted to add, the manager I think Joe was his name was just such a helpful and friendly person and made our experience arranging our reception a complete success. Theres some good waiters/waitresses and less experienced ones here as well. Theyre volume is ever increasing and no doubt they are hiring new people to help deal with the amount of customers they are receiving, Id suggest as much patience as possible for the newer employees here, but I have seen less than stellar performance from people who probably arent cut out for a classier restaurant like this... 3.5 out of 5 on service.

What a treat! Located within a short drive from downtown Pittsburgh, this winery offered a respite from the hustle of the city in the gentle rolling countryside of Gibsonia. Driving up, a beautiful arbor with grapevines invokes a subtle essence of Italy. A newly built forno will be producing pizzas and other treats, to my understanding; in the near future. Although it was off season and cooler during my visit, the manicured grounds almost beckon you to bring a blanket in warmer months to enjoy your leisure time there. The staff are more than gracious, offering their expertise and guidance on the varied wines they make. The ability for me to have tastings of up to three types provided me a great opportunity to try wines I would not have normally drank. The Brezza Marina 2012 became my new favorite. The two different flavored wine slushy machine tasting is a must! A personal tour by James, of the production area; was a wonderful way to see and understand exactly how intricate the process of wine making is and how each step is well thought out and executed. The restaurant (dont forget to make an appointment!) was just an additional perk of this vineyard. The spinach and artichoke dip with crusty pita chips is a great starter, and is more than enough for two to four people. The steak salad with delicate bits of blue cheese crumbles and real bacon! was so large; I personally could not finish it. The restaurant staff was very accommodating with the allowing our table to linger and enjoy our lunch. Kevin - very funny! On your way out, you must stop in the gift shop to purchase a few bottles and admire their collection of wine inspired gifts that are suitable and appropriate for any wine enthusiast. I will make it a point to return when I am in Pittsburgh again. Thank you Narcisi for your hospitality and providing a bit of Italy and making one feel like part of la famiglia in rural Pennsylvania!

Went there for a wedding I was in last weekend. Walked to my car after dinner which was parked right outside the entrance for less than 5 minutes to grab something and was surrounded by 3-4 security officers who accused me of drinking outside alcohol. I consented to a search of my vehicle by the extremely rude wannabe FBI team (which turned up nothing since the only thing I drank all day was a few glasses of their wine with dinner). While the interrogation was going on, other staff informed the bride and groom that I was caught multiple times with outside alcohol and threatened to end the wedding and call the police if I was not removed from the property. As I was clueless to why I was being treated this way, I spoke with a man as I was leaving, who introduced himself as the owner and admitted that another guest at the wedding (who I didnt know) was found with alcohol earlier and I may have been mistaken for them a second time. By that time, a spectacle was already made by the winery SWAT team in front of the entire wedding reception and it was a little too late to explain the misunderstanding to the bride and groom.

We had our wedding at Narcisi this month. We eat there frequently and it is our absolute favorite place to be in the world. The wait staff and management was great to work with. We had wonderful food and service. We were able to include everything we wanted in our wedding at Narcisi, real candles, small banquet rooms, perfect service, our own wedding cake, and a TV for videos and music. It was a perfect venue and perfect service. I couldnt imagine having our wedding anywhere else. We even spilled candle wax on the floor and no one mentioned it to our family or the bride. They stopped construction outside on their new gazebo and were quiet and accommodating in the kitchen when we had our service. Everyone was accommodating, the band was wonderful, and the outside area is absolutely beautiful. Thank you Narcisi for a wonderful day. I recommend this place for dinner and events for anyone. It is heaven on earth.

Visit the best part of Italy in your back yard! Like their wine this place just gets better with time. It has become one of our favorite local destinations and with good reason. The food is amazing, the wine perfect with great variety. The atmosphere is nothing short of amazing. Pair this with a constant flow of great entertainment and an outdoor venue that is spacious and fun for every one and you will understand why you will want to keep coming back time and time again! While it may seem pricey to dine here it is one of the few places where you can see the money they make being poured back into the property. Every year you can see the investment they make. Excellent job Narciso!

My first trip here. Very disappointed in my food. It arrived cool to taste and the portion was small for the price. Purchased a few bottles of wine to go along with our appetizers and wanted to try out a few other wines to go along with our dinner. We were with a party of 5 and did sample a few wines, in fact all five of us shared the wine. In other words, we did not abuse the three wine samples. Went to sample a few other wines for our dinner and the gal said to the other gal, "were these people here before?" Not very professional. She poured us a token sip which wouldnt even wet our tongues. Our waitress was the best thing there. I would not go back.
