Very disappointed! We walked in at 7:30 on a Saturday night with two other friends to celebrate my birthday. We were rudely greeted by the "manager" on duty who instantly said he was closing in ten minutes. When I clarified that they were supposed to be open until 9, he said that he hadnt had anyone for the last two hours (dinner time) and that he was closing early, even though 4 of us just walked in and there were 3 people there from the adjacent bar. They walked out because it was be incredibly awkward and he was very rude. I honestly dont know how this guy became manager. I worked in food service for 8 years. I would have been bummed but understanding if he said it nicely, but he was incredibly rude. I commented on the rudeness and he continued to argue with me about his decision. I am so disappointed. I made my birthday plans to go there because I love mead and tested one of their meads before and really enjoyed it. Im not sure how I feel about returning if he is working.

I went to the Colony Meadery yesterday. It was amazing. There were 20 different meads. The tour came with a 5 mead tasting and an insightful and educational tour. I highly recommend getting a group of 4 together and heading up to Allentown so your group can taste all 20.

Neat experience. Somewhat like a wine tasting, but with more choices - try the Mead Slushie for something different. No food (except for chips). Still a little bit of a bare bones operation, but Id go back for a pleasant diversion.

The quality & variety of the meads were fantastic. We did a tour & extra tastings and left with a case - thats how impressed we were! We highly recommend visiting the Meadery & trying out their many flavors - you wont be disappointed!

Mike is a magician at crafting Mead. Greg will make you feel like family in little less than half an hour. They have dozens of flavors in total, and always four or five recently bottled.

Awesome Mead. The tour was interesting and the taste flight was great. You get to try different flavors and find your favorites. Bonus: great staff!
