The food and location were fine, But I have never received such Disproving and Awkward treatment from a staff. After a fun Thursday night my friends and I decided to come back on Friday. We were greeted by a bartender who said "wow I cant believe you guys came back"(keep in mind we were not acting "drunk" or making a scene) . We brushed It off and tried to order drinks. The bartender rudely informed us that if we wanted to play pool and shuffleboard again that we would need to order drinks from another server, We were pretty much the only people at the bar just wanted some beers. We played some shuffleboard had some food and drinks. When we were ready to cash out we mentioned that we had been there the night before. The server was polite but he complained about floods of drunk people coming over from Agate Alley (there was maybe 30 people there and it was not even close to full capacity). We got the feeling that we were not welcome and that he was trying to keep the bar crowd out. It was a really slow Friday night there so we thought they would appreciate our business. We were respectful and polite to the staff and others, we did nothing to receive such negative treatment. If you want to keep the bar crowed out thats fine but its a little confusing to have a full bar with lots of beer on tap, Darts, Pool, Shuffleboard, drink specials and be open late night in a campus location. I have always liked Mcmenamins and will give it another try sometime I really hope for better service when I do.

We were on our way to Beppe & Giannis Trattoria and not looking forward to an hour wait when we passed right by the 19th Street Cafe and the name McMenamins said to us: FUN--GET IN HERE! So we ran in, found it semi-deserted on December 31st and ordered a burger, salad, clam chowder and chicken & pumpkin mole enchilada--all very good--and the music was adult rock&roll and blues (thanks.) Buzzing from the beer, we played a round of 8-ball (they also offer shuffleboard) and wove back to our room at the Best Western New Oregon to flop on the bed and watch NEW YEARS 2017 at Times Square. Thats the ticket!

Bring my daughter to introducktion days at the University of Oregon. We wanted something sweet and had 2 choices. Sweet candies or ice cream. Well ice cream won! And Im so glad we got some here. There was a lot of ppl outside so that reassured us we may have picked the right place. Standing room only inside and outside. Great ambionse, gentleman outside performing on his guitar and lots of different convo going around. We will always come back here. Marionberry with marshmallow topping Im coming for u again.

McMenamins Cafe on 19th Street has a fun, very funky vibe. From the moment you walk in and notice the psychedelic art on the walls you know youre not at the average Cafe. They offer lots of traditional bar food (chicken strips, Cajun tots, burgers, etc), but they also have rice bowls, sandwiches, and delicious mac and cheese with spinach and hazelnuts. Also theyve got pinball, shuffleboard, and pool tables. Definitely check this place out if youre in the area.

We had a thirsty group of 11 on a Friday at 4:30, and Ashley, our waitress, was spot on! She took good care of us for a couple of hours and we were never left waiting too long for anything. I had seen some bad reviews about the service so I was expecting it, hapily that wasnt the case. The food was good, not great, but good. The whiskey salmon was perfectly cooked and the fish and chips looked really yummy. The game room is awesome!

Very cool inside (normal for McMenamins). I especially liked the furnace surrounded by a curved bench and small tables. Also very nice for good weather as they have garage doors that open up the space. I was very disappointed that they do not allow dogs in the their outdoor seating area. I suppose it was because of the connection to the inside but I hate leaving my dog in the car when there is a patio available.

Even though there was a decent wait for our food when we visited, I felt that our server handled it extremely well. We were informed before hand that there would likely be a wait, and we were checked on constantly (but not too much). The selection was pretty standard for McMenamins but it was all well enough. Fun location, but minimal parking.

I should have left when the menu was stuck to the table from food residue. The meat on my burger was like something that came out of a babys diaper. And the oil sticks ......puke. I guess they call them fries. Ordered a salad. Should have eaten the leaves of any tree out side and it would have tasted better.

We walked in and the host told us to seat ourselves. We waited. The server never came then a new group walked in and they were served immediately. We started to get up to leave and they asked us why and we said because they were ignoring us and they just let us walk out. So we did

Dont plan on getting any service if you go Friday, Saturday, or any game day. The place is absurdly understaffed, waitstaff is perpetually stressed out, and customers end up feeling like they are hassling the staff by just being there. If youre gonna go, get wasted first.

My favorite McMennamins in Eugene. The atmosphere has always been great, and now that its been remodeled its huge! The service is slow, but the servers are always great (Ive heard the management intentionally understaffs). Love the classic rock n roll theme.

Standard McMenamins. The staff at this one was very friendly and super efficient. I had them substitute a veggie patty for a beef one, which cost me an extra two bucks. This seems odd to me and was something I found out when I got the bill.

This place is terrible, service is chronically bad, their beer is always the same - compares to widmer or other bottom-of-the-line micros. Unless, you go during happy hour, which is super early (ends by 5?), dont waste your time or money.

The fries at Mcmenamins are better than anywhere else in town. they make a great burger, and usually have good beer on tap. i like the dark grungy feel to this place also

As much as we love it here I wish someone would please clean off the ketchup bottlesand under the lids too they are so disgusting ! Other than that we love you guys !

Very good IPA and excellent burgers. The fries were a bit droopy, and slow service, but it was packed at the time. Friendly wait staff.
