I just called the front desk/customer service to inquire about the facility and their camps, the lady I spoke with who introduced herself as Lindsey abruptly interrupted me while I was asking her a question and forwarded me to a voicemail box. I hung up and called back and politely tried to clarify my question, she said hold on... put me on hold music for about 5 minutes, then hung up. I called back again. This time, Fred picked up, I immediately told him I had called twice earlier to ask a simple question about the difference between resident fees, basic resident fees, and premier resident fees but got hung up on. He explained that it had to to with membership, which was fair; however, he said with resident fees, you get a better discount than basic resident/premier resident, but on their website, the fees for resident are higher than basic resident/premier resident. When I pointed this out, he said my phone line was breaking up, lots of static... that I should try calling from a different phone at a different time! Obviously, the front desk is not well informed or knowledgeable enough to answer questions pertaining to the facility or website and will unapologetically blow you off if they cant answer your question. Needless to say, I will not be signing kids up for camp at this facility.

Nice facility, but horrible customer service. When ever I walk past the desk no one greets me with a smile or says a simple "hello." I life at the community center almost every other day, and they do have a nice selection of weights; however, the staff dont do anything from as far as I can see. A few older staff members just sit at a desk located in the workout room and chat the whole time while I work out, never cleaning any equipment. Also I always see the Assistant City Manager just walking around, but shouldnt she be helping develop Mason for the future, not worrying about the community center?

Solid fitness facility at a reasonable price. Lots of treadmills, ellipticals, rowers, and bikes. Ive never experienced a wait to get onto the cardio equipment. More waiting in the bodybuilding area, but usually pretty easy to work in your sets. There are multiple pieces of equipment to cycle into for any muscle group. There are numerous basketball courts and the pool facility is set up nicely for kids, as well as, anyone wanting to work in laps. The indoor track is great for runs on days with inclement weather. Staff is always very friendly. Overall Im very happy with my membership.

The customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE at Mason Community Center. It took us WEEKS to find out about joining. The representatives cannot answer your questions and there seems to be no one in charge who can. When we did join, we were not even offered a tour of the facility nor were the hours explained to us. Imagine our surprise to learn that most evenings the pool is closed for swimming lessons. Dont bother signing up for their recreational sports leagues. They take your money and never contact you to play nor do they return your calls when you inquire about team placement.

The accessible changing rooms are always overcrowded and they took out the shower seats with no notice making the showers unusable with a disability. Kids run wild and unsupervised and a elementary aged child pooped in the pool last time I was there. Everytime I went, I was questioned about my daughters accessibility equipment in the pool despite clearing it with pool supervisors before joining. It is overpriced and the water is cold as are the changing rooms.

Great for the whole Family, lots of Kids Friendly activities, Awesome Indoor Pools, Hot, Water Slide , well definitely recommend this place. Its also very affordable and the accept PRIME / Silver Sneakers (Health Insurance Fitness Benefits). MCC is also very affordable, with no long-term membership or commitments requirements. The only things I wish they had are a Steam Room /Sauna, and a Salon/Spa area for tired moms (hint! hint!).

I really love the community center really great people and great equipment to use. The drop in classes are awesome and the trainers are great and nice too. I think that you would have to experience the vibe to really know what it is about I have had a great time since joining 3 years ago and would not use any other facility. I would say for any new people joining that you ask for a tour and see what it is all about.

Amazing facility! Older folks may prefer very early hours for the pool before children arrive. Kids are very important but they LOVE to scream in the pool area which is dreadful for adults. Also adults arent thrilled when children jump in on top of them. I love this place. I adapt my times accordingly.

Horrible place. All staff are igrorrant and rude. I have been hung up on multiple times when inquiring about the hours of the building over the phone. It seems as if they dont want youre business. I recommend buying your own exercise equipment over their incredibly expensive membership fees.

Wonderful place to go, exercise, get involved. Very clean, although the Mens locker room was a tad disheveled. They have a great pool, indoor running track, two gyms with basketball courts, and a rock climbing wall. Our family had a good time there. I would highly recommend it.

The Mason Community Center is top notch. I have been to every place in the city and the surrounding area. If this place doesnt fit your needs - then you are too picky and you need to relax. The people are great, the facility is wonderful, and the offerings are supperior.

if you workout here everybody will take your machine or weights or treadmill. no one really knows how to workout here and their gym is truly meant for all the parents in mason, not the kids or teens. just go to lifetime....or any other place really

Solid Rec center experience. Good value and the staff are friendly. Only downside is that it can get pretty crowded during popular times (i.e. After work). A great cheaper alternative to more expensive options like LifeTime Fitness.
