I chatted with the owner - Dale, a very nice and knowledgeable guy - and sampled 12 different wines. He knows what hes doing and he knows how to make great wine. His business plan is to make wines that he likes and thinks other people will like, then try them out on his friends and family. If the wine receives rave reviews, only then does he serve it to his customers. Well, I can tell you this: Hes got a great business plan. Of the twelve wines we tried, I can honestly say that there was not a single one that we did not like. We eventually bought 5 bottles, with some struggle to narrow our choice down! These folks are, in my opinion, doing it the way it should be done. I predict that they will eventually emerge as one of Ohios leading wineries.

Wasnt too sure where to buy some wine in Marysville. Then I googled wineries and found this diamond in the rough. I didnt stay for long, and sampled about 3 different wines. All 3 samples were amazing, the lady that helped me was really nice, who was also the owner. As a small mom and pop winery, I believe they do an excellent job with customer service and have good quality wine. I will more than likely stop there in the future again. I highly recommend this diamond in the rough, most definitely worth the $15/bottle and the 45 minute drive from Columbus.

I would have told you a little over a year ago, "Im not a wine person." Then DU Winery came along to prove that statement false. I have 3 different wines I like and the 2 meads. I enjoy the atmosphere and the fact I can watch a ball or hockey game while sipping my glass. The owners are great and the staff is wonderful. Make sure you try this place out. Great place to go after lunch or dinner with out of town guests.
