This review is for the playground itself. Not the river views and soccer field. Basically my reaction is this: nice sprinkler feature, but for such a popular area, youd think this playground was a bit bigger. This park deserves one of those super playgrounds. Also, there are only two toddler swings nearby. TWO. And the person who designed and authorized the toddler swings probably doesnt have kids because the swings are super low so you need to strain your back while bending over to push your kid. Tip: rise those suckers up by shortening the chains. And with only two of them, you have a situtaion where the most impatience beings on earth (16 month olds) have to wait. There are some cool wooden play features here: like the bounce pads and the train and the wooden bridge. Fun features for sure. And yes, great river views.

Big and clean, there are bathrooms, a huge, well kept soccer field (you can sign up to join a league), located right off the east river, super chill. One point deducted because they close early, (9-11 I think it varies by day) and lock the place up. But its a lovely park to hang out in or watch sunset or a soccer game, or skateboard/eollerskate because the ground is smooth.

This park has come a long way and has some way to go. But Its a great spot to come and spend time with family and friends and have a picnic and enjoy the Manhattan skyline. They also built some fun things for the kids to play in which is a bonus. When a crowded city doesnt have many places to get away, this park is a blessing

Turf is terrible, your knees hurt after running on this surface and if you fall on the turf when playing... you better have a multi trauma dressing and some ice because it feels like you were hit by a truck! Get new turf Parks Dept! But the view is dope!

This park was absolutely beautiful the first time I went, over a year ago. Now it looks like a dump, fences everywhere, some of the rocks were removed, the only good thing is the soccer field and that cool red tower thing to climb.

Love this park. Theres a small little beach where you can listen to the water break against the rocks with the NYC skyline across the way. Perfect for early morning meditation and usually empty before 10 am on weekdays.

Theres a tower here shooting out mist. Super refreshing and a great place to make out at night. Also good for pick up soccer games on tuesday and thursday mornings.

Life saver. On 5 AM workouts, when The Drop gets you, Bushwick Inlet Park can be a life saver, but keep in mind that the bathroom opens at 6 AM.
