Dogs and Art. If you like these two things, this is the place for you. Luckily, for my wife these are two of her favorite things and she enjoyed her entire time at this museum. There are three stories with the top level filled with quite a few paintings ranging from the the 18th to 21st century. The ground floor had a lot of dogs painted and sculpted in a more modern style. The bottom floor consisted mostly of the history of military and police dog with an emphasis on the K-9 Department of St. Louis County. It was a nice trip for my wife and I though I think that the six dollar fee was a bit steep.

This place is fantastic. If you are looking for a place to hold a wedding, or any event for that matter, look this place up. Ive seen everything to weddings to pug play days (all pugs, all day). They are wonderful to work with and inexpensive as well. Plus, their gift shop is very nice as well. They hold dog days, where a breed of dog comes in to show how they are, and this is for the public!

Very welcoming and so many awesome pieces of dog art! Our dogs were welcomed and staff were all happy...we lost our poo bags inside and were surprised to find out they had closed as soon as we left! :/ We had no idea the ladies were waiting for us to leave! As we were exiting the parking lot, a staff member came to the car with the bags!

Beautiful museum dedicated to artwork showing dogs of all breeds. Loved reading the history and tributes to dogs who worked alongside man in wars and other service jobs. I dont know of any other museum that is dedicated to honoring mans best friend in such a poignant way!

I went to the museum on a non- guest dog day. The paintings, sculptures, and history were very cool, but I was hoping that a dog museum would have more activities for a dog and its owners. The $6 admission seemed steep to me.

Nice museum to walk around and was neat that they allow dogs to walk through as well. My favorite exhibit was the Dogs in Service.

This museum was fairly fun if you enjoy art and dogs. The art did get a bit repetitive and it felt small for the entry fee.

Nice dog related art work, porcelains and bronze dog sculptures. I anticipated a more posh presentation from AKC.
