Really good layout. Not a very long course, but if played from the blue tees it goes about 6100 yards. Alot of water and undulating FAST greens. The par 3s are decent with #7 being the prettiest and #11 being the longest. The par 4s are relatively short but almost all of them have doglegs, but they still allow you to hit driver. Obviously the par 4 #8 is the signature hole on this course with the force carry across Lake ODoud and the pontoon ride across the lake after the tee shot. The carry is about 200yds from the blues and I would imagine in the summer it would be a beast with a strong southerly, but we had the northerly and was pretty easy. The par 5s also dogleg and have some forced carries as well. Worth the effort to play!!

Great place to play golf. Went to go check it out as a potential wedding venue, came all the way from Saint Paul to check it out, made an appointment with confirmation email and everything. We show you, "there is no appointment?" the coordinator that we had been talking to was there (Deb) didnt even come to give us a tour or even talk to us, sent some intern to basically tell us that the great and powerful Oz could absolutely not see us without an appointment that we had to begin with. Way to miss out on a 300 person wedding. Terrible business, hope another person sees this and rethinks their plans too.

Dont have a problem with the course, its a nice course. But the employees are completely incompetent. I was planning an event at Stonebrooke and got all the way through booking it before I was told that the morning I was booking was full. Only explanation I got was that the planner had read the date wrong and that he was sorry for the inconvenience. This was after 10+ emails and 2 phone calls where the date was written/spoken EVERY TIME. Unprofessional and incompetent all around. I would avoid planning any sort of event at this course at all costs.

Maybe it was the time, right around the Ryder Cup, but the course was in very rough shape. Greens were in rough shape due to all the traffic on them. Course maintenance should have been out there rolling the greens or doing something. The course is certainly unique, almost on the "strange" side. Some holes you wonder where the fairway is because you cant see it for the bulrushes in the swamp in front of the tee box. The boat ride with your golf cart was very unique! All in all, it was ok but nothing outstanding.

Too many slow golfers allowed to slow the pace of play. Grand parents with grand children and old women who rarely play the game are allowed to meander the course. Dont know the "play through" decorum. Rangers do nothing. Retirees who spend longer than 5 minutes looking for wayward balls also never waved us through. Been there 3 times in 2016, doubt I will play the course in 2017. The Rangers and starters need to remind groups of golf etiquette. If you are a mid to low handicapper, find somewhere else to play.

My husband and I went to dinner at Stonebrooke to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy the beautiful weather outside last week. When we got there we were instantly greeted by the manager and told we could pick any seat to our liking. The services was amazing and the food was to die for. You could tell that everyone there really enjoys their job as well as each other. I would go back again just for the atmosphere the staff presents. It was a great experience and we will be back again soon.

I have golfed at Stonebrooke for the past 10-12 years. I enjoy the competent staff, well kept/groomed golf course, their policy of completing rounds in 4 hrs, and most of all their excellent food in the restaurant. (note: I chose to have my Fathers Day dinner at Stonebrookes outdoor eating with its beautiful course in the background.) I play at least 35 rounds a season and never get tired of playing each hole. My fellow golfers and I call it our "club". Bob Nordin; Prior Lake,MN

If youre looking for a high value golfing experience, Stonebrooke is definitely worth a peek! Private club feel - greeted by friendly staff in a modern clubhouse facility, carts waiting for you, grass practice range, and 18 challenging but fair golf holes, using every club in your bag. Pace of play has been running @ 4 hours - managements stated goal. 19th Hole is visually appealing - indoors or out - youll like the atmosphere. Food is fabulous - Bon Appetit!

I have played well over 100 courses in Maryland, Virginia and Florida; and, theres no question Stonebrooke ranks among the very best! The layout is very diverse, and the course is always in pristine condition! The staff members are extremely helpful; and Einar Odland, the General Manager, is a terrific ambassador for the course. Stonebrooke is truly one of my most favorite courses! I strongly suggest you play the course as soon as possible!

Stonebrooke Golf Club has always been a great facility to host luncheon and dinner recognitions and celebrations. The Shakopee School District has done this on numerous occasions. We couldnt be happier with their great customer service, attention to detail, and great food. And, the golfing experience has always been a great, challenging one. The course is kept in immaculate shape with great rewards for your shot-making abilities.

The senior rate has climbed the past couple years to the point of where we used to play Stonebrook at least twice a week to only once this year. There are so many other courses around with more reasonable rates. If I want to play a quick nine, Ill play Waters Edge, although that course is not maintained very well. The trees are all overgrown and choke off the fairways, more time should be put into the upkeep.

Oh My, Stonebrooke is a hidden jewel right in my backyard. They have an incredible menu and Happy Hour every day. They also have a Sunday Brunch for $10.95 per person that is one of the best Brunchs Ive ever had. Its worth $25 or more per person. I Highly recommend Stonebrooke Golf Clubs restaurant. Its a great place to take your family for a Holiday night out. Cheers!

Course is pretty unique and fun especially if its your first time there. Can get a bit beat up from time to time but it has very heavy usage during peak seasons. As far as the restaurant the food is great and they have e a decent beer selection. It isnt the cheapest place but the food is worth it. The patio is also pretty nice when the weather cooperates.

Horrible staff, course is below average. They act like they are running some top level course there. Rangers need to relax, you see them literally every hole. Ruins the experience. Feels like they follow you around to see if you are breaking any of their rules. Would only play there again if I got a free round. Not even close to worth the money.

I really like Stonebrooke Golf Club, it is a challenging course but very nice to play. The course is always kept very nice, it is well maintained. Not only do I love the course, but the menu is great at the restaurant. I really like the restaurant, the burgers and fries are very good. I always have a nice time when I play at Stonebrooke.
