Went here with my wife and sister and was extremely excited to have our 4 month old Aussie shepherd visit another dog park. Major disappointment ensued as the people there seemed to lack any etiquette nor were people following the most basic rules. Theres a reason that a separation exists for small and big dogs mostly having to do with physics and mass, but whatever. We were on the small dog side and two people had their big dog crashing through all the small dogs. Their dog trampled over our puppy three or four times with an unignorable cry and whelp coming from our puppy each time. No apology, no acknowledgement that their dog had done this. Set boundaries with your dog or better yet, have your big dog play on the big dog side. Simple. Their dog also trampled into my wife while she was sitting and knocked her into the ground! These people didnt apologize and acted as if nothing happened. Absolutely ridiculous. Weve been to other dog parks where other owners actually engage with you and set boundaries for their dogs and apologize if their dog gets out of hand. Not so here, it seemed to be really cliquey and it was like you were disrupting the status quo by being there. A woman made a backhanded comment about having our breed of dog there, it was very passive aggressive. She made it seem like we were interfering with all the other dogs playtime because our dog was a different breed, like what? Its a public park. We left soon after and as we were walking through the gate a fight broke out amongst the other dogs.. we couldnt see exactly what happened but a dog (belonging to the woman who made the snide comments to us) snapped at some other dogs creating what looked like a pretty nasty fight. Glad we left when we did and will not be coming back. An absolute disappointment.

The park itself was much needed and long overdue. I just would like to mention that people that come here dont follow the rules. Even the basic ones like putting a smaller dog in a separate area from larger dogs. The areas are separated for a reason and Ive witnessed more than one occasion where a small dog was put into the large dog area and it ended in a tense and traumatic situation for the smaller dogs and their owners. Please just follow the simple rules of the park and always be a responsible caregiver to our fury and much loved friends. This park took a long time to come together and I would hate to see this wonderful resource getshut down due to peoples not following simple rules at the park and peoples who are just not responsible Dog Parents (i.e. picking up poo immediately and disposing of it properly, bringing enough water so your fury friend doesnt overheat and etc.) Use the park, love it, and most of all we all need to respect it for the health of our precious fury family members and ourselves.

Very nice medium-large dog park with a smaller area for small dogs and shy dogs. All areas are fenced in for safety and the land is maintained. In the summer, some plants grow taller than most people in the large park, but there are mowed paths between the wilderness areas. You do need to walk with your dog to keep an eye on them and pick up after them, but there are plenty of shortcuts to keep up. One of the paths go all along the edge of the park for those trail-seekers while the main area is large and open, best suited for the crowd of dogs who like to wrestle and chase without the chance of tripping in a critter den. The dog park is next to Bunker Hills Regional Park, so there are many trails to walk your pooch should you want to explore more, especially in winter if you skijor! The Facebook group for the dog park is of the same name. Its a great place to get questions answered from park-goers and connect in general. Thanks for reading! Have a groovy day! =)

Took my dogs here to this park 04/09/17 for the first time around 11am. After we spent an hour here I came back to my car and some stupid idiot either dont know how to park or reverse their stupid car out crushed my car right side mirror and took off. This park is great but the people here are not as friendly or cant park for ****. So beware to note your surrounding and check your car before leaving. ***Disclosure*** If you are the idiot who wreck my side mirror and your reading this, I hope you wreck your car x2 what you did to mines. Karma is a ***** and your going to get it.

This is the best place for fluffy friends. I brought my dog friend here and the first thing he did was run a couple laps--then he went up to every person in the park asking for pets. You should have been there, it was cute. I liked walking the trail. A lot of dog parks are flat and boring, but this is not. So, human + dog friend approved. Only downside is the dumpster is outside of the park, so when you pick up after your pet you have to leave the park.

Great place to take your pup to get their energy out. Ours loves it. Generally at least a few dogs in there at all times. Theres different areas for small and large breeds. Make sure to bring your own water for your dog, and avoid this park after a rain or spring thaw. It can get very muddy! The dogs do have fun though.

Roughly 2 square blocks of fenced in trails, hills, and trees. A little busy, but the locals are cordial. My fluffy companion went bonkers running around the place, sniffing pals and soliciting pettings. I got plowed over by a random giant lab, but he apologized and we shared a stick. Good times.

Amazing dog park. There is a small section and a big section. If your dog has never been to a dog park I would recommend going to the small section first. They have bags. If you bring a ball, it is unlikely you will get it back. Dont bring dog toys you dont want to lose.

Nice open space with a variety of trails and terrain. Park benches and water bowls are a nice feature, but bring your own water! No running water sources or ponds/streams available. Locals are very friendly and dogs seem more than a little excited to be able to run.

Rolling landscape, separate area for timid pooches, no mucky swampy stuff for your dog to drag into your car. Always a nice breeze. Most folks are nice and responsible handlers of their canine companions. Direct access to walking trails outside of the off-leash area.

My Dobe girls favorite dog park in the world. Large space for the dogs to run and play. Great track around the outside edge of the park for humans to walk with the dogs. Bring water for the dogs as they dont have any available on site.

Very clean and well kept for a dog park. Wish it had more benches though and maybe doggie bags. But other than that, it has a large fenced area for large dogs and a smaller area for small dogs. Which is super nice. Would recommend!

The dog park for smaller dogs is kind of little. The other part for large dogs looks really nice though. I wish there was more for the small dog side. Maybe a path to walk or something.
