This restaurant was a little deceiving at first impression on the website. I thought the restaurant was more of a cocktail jazz piano bar but I was pleasantly surprised that the talented performers had a huge repertoire of music from popular top 40 songs to classics. The reservation experience was a bit inconvenient for out of town people. You have to make reservation via the website. Then you have to wait for an email to get confirmation. Then they call you to confirm again on the day of your reservation. The restaurant is quite large so I was surprised that you needed a reservation. But I don’t think this restaurant is open regularly and noticed that it is the place to go for celebrations and large groups. First impressions, the décor seemed a bit confusing. Though it looked trendy and upscale, it still looked to me like a pub with all the TV’s. So I wasn’t sure if it was trying to be a classy dining restaurant with a hostess who takes you in or a pub for beer drinking guys to hang out at. We were very impressed with the multi-faceted performers. They were young, talented and very versatile at playing the songs on the piano, guitar and drums. They were able to play top 40 pop songs really rhythmically on the piano. The menu needs better selection of healthy food. A lot of the appies were deep fried which didn’t leave us much choice. I would like to see better selection low calorie, healthy appies. The drinks were reasonably priced (happy hour price) but I think I ended up ordering some doubles. Martini cocktails were very strong. Great selection of drinks though. It was a really great experience overall. Lots of fun and they embraced Canadians. But you may want to tip in US dollars. I give it 5 stars for entertainment and drinks but only 2 stars for food. So to be fair overall, I would give it a 3.

My girlfriend suprised me with a groupon to this place today, and I really wish she wouldve saved her money. We had nothing but unsatisfactory service. It took 10 minutes after we were seated to be asked what we wanted to drink. And another 10 minutes for the waitress to bring back our bottled beer.... something that a normal person could do in 2 minutes. Also, when she came back with out drinks, she left our table without even asking us if we were ready to order. It was another 20 minutes later until she finally came back to us and somewhat rudely asked us if we were going to order anything..... we had to move our seats because the speakers were blowing our ears out at the table we were seated at. It took another 30 minutes to get our food and the waitress plopped our plates right down on the menus and napkins. Didnt even pick up the menus. Food was ok, but not worth the price. We sat around for 20 minutes after we were done with our food waiting for the bill until we finally had to go up to the counter to get our bill because we were sick of waiting. If the place was busy we wouldve been totally understanding but the place wasnt evenv1/4 of the way full so there was no excuse for the terrible service we received. We were forced to leave a 20% tip which the waitress definitely did not deserve. And to top it all off, we spotted the bartender taking shots. Extremely unprofessional service and staff, we will definitely never return and advise to stay away and go to Black Rock across the street. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

This review is for the FOOD only. We reserved a large table for a dinner and for the show. Out of 16 of us, almost half of the orders were wrong. I never did get the proper meal and both the waitress and then the chef 3 hours after we arrived came out to argue. Only 1 person in our group said the food was "good" (mostly "ok"). Delmonico very fatty, one came out that was a NY strip and they kept saying was a Delmonico. Someone at our table is a chef and knows the difference. Lemon rice soup was almost a chowder it was so thick and lemony, no one could eat it. Scallopini had no flavor, chicken marsala was awful, even the apps were hit and miss. The cheese ball things were very disappointing. The bread was even inconsistent from one batch to the next (sometimes flat, sometimes more rounded, different sizes and levels of Parmesan on it). Overheard both tables behind us got wrong bill. Server assured us this kind of thing never happens but when I asked off the top of they had Coke or Pepsi and she got that wrong (its Coke by the way), should have known. The pianos etc. are obliviously the star of the place if you like that thing. I would just eat first if we were to go again. I would recommend the 2nd set as the 1st is just 2 guys (3, but only 2 at a time) whereas the last set had a woman join them and she could really sing.

My girlfriend and I went here with a groupon on a Thursday. For starters, do not bother ever going here with a groupon. As soon as the find out you have a groupon your service will be absolutely horrendous. They will automatically put a 20% gratuity on your bill so they dont really care about how your service is. The place only had a hand full of tables and it took forever for any service. Every table in the place was full of dirty glasses and dishes (maybe hire a busboy). They were even seating people at the tables without clearing them. The food was not too bad but nothing I was amazed by. The piano players were very entertaining and did a terrific job with all the requests. I was very impressed by the building until we were seated at our table. Cheap banquet style chairs that do not match one another at all and very cheap tables. Not impressed. They have a great drink menu with pretty reasonable prices. However, my overall experience with this place was terrible. The place is operated terribly. I do not recommend this place at all. They only reason they are getting two stars is because I do not have too much negative things to say regarding the food (even though they never asked how I want my steak cooked and they completely forgot to ask if we wanted our soup or salad) and the piano players were very entertaining.

NYE 2016 Party. I was a little disappointed at first. But when I remembered that I wasnt at Pat OBriens in New Orleans, and that some traditional elements of a piano bar may be upstaged by the excitement of the New Years Eve crowd, I rethought my impression. It would have been nice to have more piano sound - and to get rid of the drums completely - but I understand if that was a NYE thing. Hopefully, it is not the norm, and patrons can enjoy and appreciate the talent more on normal nights. Overall, nice venue. Access to drinks was very good, and the wait staff did an exceptional job of keeping my glass full. One of the piano players seemed to insist on playing rap songs - none of which were well equipped for a piano bar setting - but the other artists made up for it. I get one or two rap songs as a comedic offering (only Ben Folds can pull of Dre), but I think that there were five or six within a one-hour block. Cmon. Even Trey Anastasios Gin & Juice was underwhelming. Well come back to give it another round on a non-NYE night. I love the idea. Perhaps the review was just a result of a mis-match between my expectations and the specific entertainment plans for NYE.
