If I could give this attablisment a zero, I would. I just visted from Michigan for the Roma vs juventus soccer game. Not only is the staff extremely rude and disorganized, but they have the most ridiculous rule about the clear bag only policy. I was first told that my cross body bag that was an inch over there green paper was too large and not allowed in and was given a clear plastic bag for my belongings. I stepped to the side and a different worker at the stadium said if I put all my belongings in the clear bag and my purse fit they would let me in. I went up for a second time to be turned away .. when I said that a gentleman who worked there told me that was allowed, they said it wasnt a thing.. I was given two options 1) return the bag to the car .. (which I took the train so thats not an option) or 2) throw out the bag. Also, I was told if I hide my bag I would be given a ticket or be arrested. Luckily, I ran into a good samaritan who was more than happy to help me and I was able to keep my purse. Had I not ran into this amazing individual who was able to help me, I would not have been able to go in. My suggestion for the owners and managers is your establishment is not Fort Knox , train your employees to know your rules and treat guest with respect and accomodate your out of town guests who dont know your rules. I would have been more than happy to pay a small fee to rent a locker out for the game, but that was not an option.

In terms of getting to/from the stadium, it is a nightmare. Ive visited 2/3 of the stadiums in the league and Gillette is by far the worst. You have two options: drive there and park; or take the Patriots Train from Boston. We chose the latter- but theres only one train on game day so it is rammed!! In our case there were multiple delays on the track and we arrived in Foxboro just 15 minutes prior to kickoff (apparently common). You can do the math in terms of how easy it is for that many people to clear security at once, and then find their seats within 15 minutes. Its not happening. Next time you see that many empty seats at kickoff in Gillette, now you know why. By the time we got settled the score was 14-0 and the game never got closer. The whole experience was silly- mainly because theres no real alternative.. if we were to do it again, wed probably have to do it the same way! Thats what I mean! Unless youre staying in Foxboro, youll waste an incredible amount of time in transit and it will likely ruin your day. If it were any other team, Gillette would be notorious by now. Buy tickets at your own peril. By the way, the stadium in isolation is fine but does it really matter? Mind you, they could use more bathrooms around the lower bowl. That itself is pure comedy, a bottleneck the likes of which Ive never seen anywhere else. Go Patriots! :p

Stadium is young and already have some amazing memories here. While others (below my comment) complain about the lack of transportation which is true and taking one train from boston is not realistic for the vast majority of fans (most dont live in the city so why would you ever drive into boston pay for parking and then pay for a jam packed train that cost around $15 each if not more) most are happy to drive. Yeah parking is $40-50 and not going down anytime soon but much less than the commuter rail if not traveling with just one other person. And that is part of the charm, you go down to Gillette with a bunch of friends, get there early and tailgate for a few hours. The best advice I can give someone is to park across the street from the stadium. After the game that entire area gets its own lane (thats typically for the opposite direction of traffic) so you breeze by all the other suckers. I literally have made it home to the Boston/Watertown area in 30 minutes and sometimes even less. This is for anyone taking the highway and/or traveling north & east/west of stadium. Good food (for a football stadium), fun atmosphere, relatively good stadium for a football stadium. Owners always honor the alumni from the dynasty days which makes sitting/standing b/c you wont sit for the entire game (if you wanna see). During halftime not as bad.

CBS Scene: this place was disorganized at best. Food was good, service was polite but non-existent. Here is how my visit went: Arrived for a reservation a little early (10 minutes) for a late lunch on a Sunday outside of football season. They sat us quickly, but that was nearly the last quick thing that happened. Ten minutes later, no one even looked at us; five minutes after that a waitress comes by and asks if anyone had waited on us - we replied with "no, not yet." She said "okay, Ill steal you" and proceeded to take our drink orders and apps. Everything looked like it was great, but our waitress, although very polite, was gone almost the entire time we were there. I had to go find someone to get ketchup; I had to place a refill order through the food delivery person, and getting and paying my check was a challenge to say the least. On the way out I stopped to tell the people at the front desk that my experience was deplorable and that it was genuinely very bad; the guy behind the desk looked at me as if to say, "thats how we do it here", then went on saying nothing, so I just left.

I will be in town to attend the One Direction Concert tonight and based on the Negative or Con reviews than Pros and by word of mouth which was not good. I have been trying to call the stadium for over an hour regarding parking info for One Direction not the Stupid Patriots or if there was somewhere else that I can park for cheap rather than get screwed royally for some outrageous price this stadium wants to charge fools like myself and others! All I keep getting is the menu but especially when I press 3 to speak with a representattive. maybe the representatives do not exist, dont know how to use the phone or maybe incompetent! I guess the bad reviews and word of mouth are true about the Gillette Stadium, "I will be sorry" and bad service, rude & nasty staff, overpriced food which is horrible and that I will regret buying the ticket and going here. Thank you Gillette Stadium for not answering your phone to assist a customer and maybe changing my opinion or what I heard negatively about your place because you do not care about the customer, "It is All About The $ and your profits"!

I love Robert Craft and the Patriots, but I have to say, for a stadium that was only built 11 years ago and I was very disappointed with the way it was designed. 1)There is not enough rest rooms, and once you wait the 30 minutes to use it, there arent any TV monitors to watch the game for the long wait, and 2 sinks per 40 or so urinals. 2) Long concession lines, and no stadium vendors to serve you while you are seated. 3)While the view of the field is very good from your seating, there arent enough outlets to the isle, and people literally have to climb over you to get in and out. 4) Very long wait driving in and out of the stadium 5)The cops policing the traffic are not very friendly. will give you a hard time for no reason, and direct traffic in a nonsensical way. I know Robert Craft is a very smart businessman when it comes to managing the team, but he really needs to come to one of his games from a fans perspective.
