The Baton Rouge City Park Golf Course is a very well kept 9-hole course adjacent to the University Lakes. The prices are fair and the difficulty is easy to moderate. The course itself doubles as a FootGolf course, where individuals can essentially play golf by kicking the soccer ball. What is nice about this course is that it is built up higher than the surrounding area so when it rains the course stays fairly dry.

Great 9 hole course for the price! Good location and it is hilly because it lies on the Baton Rouge Fault, very unique for this area. Greens arent in good condition, but its a municipal course. Go on odd hours or if there is a cloud in the sky and you will have the course to yourself. Funny hearing all these complaints about a $9 city course designed by Tom Bendelow....

You get what you pay for is the phrase that comes to mind when describing city park golf course. Not to say I didnt have fun. The course actually matches my skill level of not being very good. Good course for new golfers but more experienced golfers should look elsewhere.

Municipal Public Golf Course located near LSU. Every time I go out it is packed, and 9 holes takes 4 hours to play. Only OK on the slow hours.
