Very poor value at the 40 weekday rate. Ive played this course in the past and considered it a decent value at ~25-30 for 18 with cart. At 40 its way overpriced for the condition of the course. Fairways and greens are OK. However, once you venture more than 1ft off the fairway or green be prepared to hit amongst clumps of weeds and hard pack. Sand bunkers are raked dirt at best. Youll notice the 55+ crowd are the primary players here.....Because theyre only paying 30. Do yourself a favor and play any of the Lexington city courses, Marriott, UK Club (Big Blue as Wildcat is a disaster), Connemara, Houston Oaks, etc, etc. Youll get much more value for the money spent.

Decent course, with recently renovated driving range and hitting bays. Course is usually in decent shape. They are doing some work, with a new green in the works on 9, and some earthworks and rerouting around 16 and 17. Still perfectly playable. Where this course really shines is the staff. Jerry and his team are always friendly and helpful. I just wish they had a liquor license so they could sell beer...

Lots of weeds in rough and around greens. Greens are beat up. The class of players there play very slow, wont let faster groups through, and dont repair their ball marks or divots. For the $, the worst course in the area. For the same type of experience you can play lakeside and save $30 per player. Better alternative are the UK club and Boones Trace.
