This is very honest and pure experience at the Beech Bend at fist time visit and from one of amusement park enthusiast. Im an international student at the local university, I recently heard great thing about Beech Bend, its a small park but its worth to go out and have fun once in your lifetime in your life. Theres BIG BUT, It was one of terrible amusement park facility ever. My friend had leg swelling after riding adult bumper car. I have posted the picture of swelling of legs from riding the BUMPER CAR. The Bumper car had a lack of safety for guest, theres ride operator saying safety procedure in the beginning but cant believe they dont PA system in 2017. If you are in local carnival then yes, but this is one so call the Amusement Park in Bowling Green KY. The ride operator was yelling and screaming but cant hear it a single word because of all surrounding noise. I know ride operator did their best to follow the safety procedure but no, I would understand and accept the situation if it was 1995 then I would understand. But come one, this is 2017. So when all Bumper cars should go one way, people who didnt hear safety rule, they start going crazy. I dont think Beech Bend management dont care about their guests safety at all. There were many old rides that should of get rid off a long time ago and the seat belt that doesnt work properly. What a culture shock. Ride operator looked exhausted, which I get it, I would be like them if I worked in that place too. If you care about your spending your VALUABLE MONEY PLEASE drive one hour more and go somewhere else like Holiday World or the Kentucky Kingdom. DO YOUR WORK GUYS, not even having shelf to put my backpack and jacket is wrong, my jacket was ended up soak from other peoples drink. Your mission should be providing a good and fun time, not robbing us.

I took some of my Jr. high guys up to Beech Bend from Nashville on Saturday, August 28. The admission cost is extremely overpriced given the quality of rides, ongoing construction, and staff service. I feel the "free drink promo" is partially to offset the fact most staff members rather be anywhere else but the park. They were decent to me, but I trust the horror stories Ive heard. The Kentucky Rumbler is worth this park being a rung above poor. I could have ridden that coaster many more times; however, the vibe of the entire park is the same as any county fair. After a hour or two in the park, you get the sense you paid way too much. Im sure Holiday World loves thie park, since it makes it look so good. The lazy river needs help - too short, not enough special effects to make it stand out. But Ill give the park some slack since they are trying to improve/add more fun elements. The kiddy pool is a highlight for those who have toddlers and elementary-aged kids. Still, the depth of the wave pool should exceed five feet. Im not sure why theres another leisure pool, when another attraction could exist there. The slides are enjoyable and put Wave Country to shame, despite the crap quality of the slide mats. So take it from a guy who has been across the country to many water/amusement parks. This is close to an epic joke. A few minor perks cant overshadow the parks glarring blunders. I could see this park becoming a better park in a few years, but this will be a three-star getaway at best. I feel any review of this park changes if the admission cost is $12-15. But its $30++, so any review giver must hold it to a higher standard of quality. In the meantime, by me holding off from a one-star review, Im doing this park a favor.

First, Im a Florida girl who grew up around Disney, Universal, and Busch Gardens. We went to theme parks all the time so I think Im a good reviewer of parks. Theres not much to do in Nashville and Nashville Shores is AWFUL! We got a refund from them they were so terrible. For less than Nashville Shores, BeechBend park was AMAZING! The carnival rides were fun, the rollercoaster was alot like Gwazi and better than Thunder Mountain at Disney and at most we waited 5 min in line-if we waited at all! The staff were extremely friendly, struck up interesting conversations with us, and were professional. The water park was awesome and it was great to not have to wait in line to cool off, nor have to pay extra to use the tubes. I liked it more than Wet n Wild in Orlando, even tho they have more slides bc whats the point of more slides when you have to wait 1hr to go on them? We just kept riding slides over and over and it was so much fun! The free drinks and sunblock was a real plus and there were plenty of tubes whenever we wanted to pick one up. We didnt eat there, but went to a local Mexican place and for $6 shared a meal that was too much to finish, and got $1 beers. We had a wonderful relaxing day :) The prior review wrote that it was dirty but I was just at Disney and was DISGUSTED! And of course paid $80 to use dirty RRs, wait HOURS in line, pay $3 per drink, had to eat their awful overpriced food, and had to look at the depressing mess of rides that were shut down or just unkempt. Believe me, if youre in this area, this is the park to see! Every park has issues with people that litter. I would rather go to Beech Bend Park than Disney-and my home is practically in Disneys backyard!

Weve enjoyed Beech Bend annually for several years now. I have found it to be a great amusement park for young children. It seems to have everything you need, only on a smaller scale than other parks. I consider my rating based on parks that I have personally been to, which include Six Flags (in NJ,GA,CA), Disneys Magic Kingdom, Cedar Point, Universal Studios CA, Holiday World. Why do I feel this park to be so great for little ones. The rides are simpler, more like fair rides. Only one roller coaster. Theyre not a lot of large crowds. Its very easy to keep track of the little ones without getting lost in large crowds and weve never waited in line more than a minute or two. The water park is included in the price. If I had to compare it to another park it is like Holiday World but half the size. There are two water "playgrounds" one is more for toddlers and the other for larger kids up to 12. There is a lazy River and wave pool. This would be why I wont give 5 stars. The lazy River spits you out into the wave pool. If your enjoying your relaxing ride on the river, you wont enjoy it too much when you end in the wave pool getting pummeled by other tubes and swimmers. I also do not enjoy this wave pool because of all the tubes in it. If you do not have a tube and your just swimming, chances are someone is going to run you over with their tube .

This is a clean place with friendly staff, but dont expect a full blown amusement park. Most of the rides are carnival style rides that now permanently reside at the park. The Kentucky Rumbler roller coaster (which they feature prominently on their promotional material ) is the exception. Its a good coaster. There are 4 other small to medium coasters as well. The water park is very simple, with a "splash castle" area and 3 medium sized slides, and a large swimming pool. Enough to round out your trip, but not a destination. Poor change facilities. Sun screen is provided. That said, they have a ton of rides and we never had to wait in line. Our kids are 5 and 3 and they had a ball. The lines for food and drinks, however, were glacial. At least they dont overcharge. Bring cash. You cannot bring your own food and drinks. Overall, better than a trip to the county fair. We used a "buy one get one free" for the adult tickets. Without that, I would recommend adults buying individual tickets and just riding the 2 or 3 rides worth paying for. To sum up: Good: Small crowds, tons of rides, inexpensive Bad: Ride quality, concessions, lack of shade
