A rebuttal to you, Mr. Dave Myers 1.) Your family owns the course and youre the superintendent, so OF COURSE you think it has great playing conditions!! I detect a hint of bias. 2.) Go back to grade school and learn to read. Its Parmerlee, not Parmalee. 3.) I think its pretty clear why I gave a "bad write up". If you read the review, I make it undoubtedly clear. The service sucks and always has ever since I can remember. 4.) I missed the meeting to join "the good ol boys club" out there at Maplewood where the grass aint green and the girls are 80. 5.) Its understandable that my honest/no nonsense reviews are too much for DAVE to comprehend. 6.) As far as me not being happy or fun to hangout with. To each their own, but I dont think I would enjoy drinking a beer and conversing with a "fellow" who considers Maplewood a "5 star golf course" and RATES HIS FAMILY BUSINESS in a sad attempt to discredit the truth. Unprofessional... just what Id expect from Maplewood. 《ORIGINAL REVIEW》 This course is what youd expect in the middle of a cornfield... short and flat without a lot of challenges. What gives this course its reputation is its poor service towards anyone outside of their members and regulars circle. Ive called the clubhouse on several occasions and asked if I needed to make a tee time. They always say "No, come on out. Well get you right on". When I show up theres usually a league, an outing, a tournament or high school match going on and they wont let me on the course. Even if theyre playing the front and I ask to tee off on the back. Ridiculous. Take my money!!

Great golf course, especially for the bargain of a price. Fairways are nice and easy to play from. The course has many obstacles which add challenging elements to your experience, but is not excessively challenging and provides a great experience for golfers of all skill levels.

Well maintained tee boxes, greens and fairways. All the parts of a golf course that matter. Not a long course but accuracy is sure rewarded.

Mitch. I have not been involved with maplewood for 11 years. You sound miserable.
