Value and location are the strong points of this course. Ive played here several times in both the summer of 2016 and 2017. The greens are usually above standard shape for a city course and run a little faster than most city courses. I prefer South Grove over Coffin any day of the week, despite Coffins layout being better. Now for the negatives: pace of play is not enforced and often very slow on weekends. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, however there is one guy that seems to be a jerk. Ive witness him yell at several patrons (never myself), and Ive heard stories from buddies about him either being snarky or rude. Overall, I will continue to play here because of its convenient location to downtown and the reasonable rates, its certainly no gem, but is a viable option.

Nothing amazing, but a good value with a Groupon. Almost totally flat and straight. Greens were in very good shape for a cheap course, but the tee boxes and some fairways were in rougher shape.

One of the most beautiful courses i have played, an Indianapolis Treasure. The Pro in the Clubhouse was super friendly and just a great overall experience.
