Ive been golfing for awhile now, and have never had such a bad experience with the staff from this course. First off they timed us on some holes and said we were taking too long with the hole. In reality they didnt see us have to wait for the others to go before we could go. They said they we could just hit a few balls and then head to the green. They said we looked like we were new to golf and that we were holding people up. In reality they overbooked the the course and were going about it all the wrong way. Ive never been to a course were they were "nice" assholes to the customers. We booked the twilight rate for 18 holes on a Sunday evening and stopped us at the 15th hole because they needed the carts in by 8:30 pm. There were still light out and we could have easily finished the last three holes before dark, but they wouldnt let us. I will NEVER be back to this location, which sucks because I got the SPD card which gives you a discount at the Schaumburg Golf club. Such a waste of time.

My group had reserved a round of 18 on Tournament and Baer courses on Mon 3/28. When we got there we were given Players and Tournament. I didnt ask why but it probably had to do with the fact that it had rained a lot the day before. Player 9 course was fair and the greens were extremely slow. Once we made the turn to finish out the back 9 on tournament, the greens all of a sudden were 4 times as fast. As anyone who has played golf before, thats a difficult adjustment to make in the middle of a round from pounding your putts to now gently tapping it. Im sure they are still in the process of getting the course ready for spring, but you can find a better deal for a more consistent golf experience at other nearby courses such as Hilldale and Fox Run. Think twice of golfing at Schaumburg until the weather and course conditions improve even at their current spring prices as its just not worth it.

It was a rough winter and the greens were pretty tough early on. The course is now is great shape and is well kept. The GPS on the carts is right on the money and the layout of all 27 holes is a challenge for most golfers. You are not bothered by the ranger as long as you maintain a reasonable pace of play. The club house has been remolded and the food has continued to be above average for a golf club. Prices are reasonable and the view from the patio seating is quite good

This course is one of the worst around. Luckily, Chicagoland has more than 200 courses to chose from and I wont have to play Schaumburg Golf Club again. If you like five hour rounds, bumpy greens, an incompetent staff (especially Preston C. Irwin) and slow play, then Shcaumburg Golf Club is for you! Othwerwise, get out the golf guide and go somewhere else. Village Links in Geln Ellyn is very nice!

One of the nicer courses around the area. You dont feel like the holes are on top of each other and it plays at a good pace. The staff was very friendly and a few actually went out of their way to help us. A good price and some nice challenging holes makes this course one of the better ones in the immediate area.

I have been playing here for over 10 years and this year it is in the best shape i have ever seen. Each year they out do themselves. And I like the new remodeled club house. Very open and clean. After golf go eat at Chandlers. Great food! You wont be disappointed with this coarse!

A solid, reliable local course. Prices are decent, and you can often find deals on GolfNow. Conditions are typically above average and the pace of play is reasonable. The layout is averge, but 27 holes keeps you from getting too bored with the same holes over and over.

this is one of the nicest course out there the greens are always true. One of my favorite places to play sorry I didnt post five stars the first time around this is a top-notch course take the time to play it

Nice facility. Variety of 3 home hole layouts. Challenging yet fair. Enormous clubhouse that hosts banquets and weddings. Typically nice conditions on course

Not sure where all the negative reviews come from, but the greenskeepers keep this course in top shape. Great layout and good deals at off peak hours.

Great golf course. Just expect a slightly different rate for golf each time you go, as they change prices quite often.
