The good... A good looking, upwardly mobile, black professional, fun-loving crowd. The decor is a warm, modern, island vibe -- very comfortable and unpretentious. DJs played mostly new music with a sprinkling of old school jams and island music. The sound was clear but not overpowering. Its loud enough to dance but quiet enough to have a conversation. Karaoke was a nice change of pace and entertaining. VIP section was reasonably priced for S. Florida, $200 - $300 per bottle. The bar service at VIP was exceptional. The security throughout the club was professional and unobtrusive. This is a great place to entertain business clients and meet new people. The bad... The club at times seemed to be a victim of its own success. The wait for general admission was 45 minutes. Bartenders and waitresses were scarce during the busy hours. The kitchens offerings included the standard "Chilis" bar fare (wings, quesadillas, fries) and was a poor effort. The food service seemed to be an accommodation rather than a selling point for the business. The bar was well stocked with premium vodkas (every kind of Circoc) but a limited selection at everything else (beer, whiskey, gin). The bar service in general admission was acceptable in terms of time to be served, presentation and quality of drinks but could be greatly improved with additional servers and an emphasis on specialty drinks. Overall the club is superior.

Fist off I will start that if I could I would not even give this place a single star! My friend went here on Halloween weekend and some nasty dancer thought that she threw a drink at her. The dancer threw a drink back to her and all her friends. One of her friends got upset and threw a drink back. The dancer went and got all the bouncers and they took these poor girls into a back room and brutally abused them, threw them on the walls and hit them and even grabbed them by the neck. KEEP IN MIND NON OF THE GIRLS RESISTED TO LEAVE. they where never properly escorted out of the club but instead VIOLATED. WOMEN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE OR YOU WILL MOST LIKELY GET VIOLATED BY A HUGE BOUNCER FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDNT EVEN DO. Keep in mind my friend is in the hospital because of this issue.

Look at this poster - it says everyone $10 before 1am. When we got there it was 12:20am and they were asking for $20. When we show the poster to the host she said that you have to be on the guest list to pay $10 - Really!?!? THE POSTER SAYS "EVERYONE". Liar ... When I ask the guy (Rick or Ricky) that does the event about it, his answer was: "thats an old poster" - Yet that poster was on every TV screen in the place and is currently on Cafe Iguanas website. Another liar ... Thats very deceptive!!! Just straight up lying to extort more money from people that just want to have a good time. I wouldnt mind paying $20 however I SHOULD NOT be tricked or deceived into it.

Neyo made an appearance the night I visited. I was planning a trip to Miami and saw that he would be here and since Im a fan I had to come. My flight landed at midnight, and we hurried over to see what all the hype was about. There were so many cars in the parking lot, but the entrance line wasnt as long being that we arrived at a little after 1 am. It was crowded, but there was enough room to move about. Neyo was mingling with the crowd, and he was in arms reach which I thought that was pretty cool. This place also has multiple dance floors that plays different genres. I would definitely visit again.

I am sooooo disappointed...I have need been to Cafe Iguanas in Pembroke Pines before and I was so excited to take my hubby on Saturday, 06/24/17 to a charity freestyle concert. The place is spacious and the music was amazing but it was so disgusting because they allow people to smoke inside, which completely surprised me because they serve food inside...GROSS!!! It was so bad that my hubby and I had to leave before all the acts came on. Im not going to ask dj Charlie Rodriguez for a refund because it was for charity but we will never go back.

dont go here..,they have way too much staff working here...it just feels like your not having fun when you have all these staff bumping into you and watching you like your doing something..DRINKS..10 for a regular rum and coke..Im talking about the cheapest rum you can get..the generic rum that the clubs probably get for free and dont cost more than 6 dollars per 750ml at the liquor store...I cant see if they used Bacardi or something but it was 10 bucks for cheap house liquor..I hate south Florida clubs because all they do is rip people off.

Been coming here every so often for years. Came down a couple of weeks ago, and enjoyed a night out at Iguanas. Still a lively club, and well maintained. My only problem is I came in expecting it to possibly be cold, so I brought my jacket, but immediately after entering, and paying for my ticket I felt warm, and wanted to put my jacket in my car. I asked if I could do this, and was told that once I re-enter I would have to pay again..NOT COOL. Had they let me put my jacket away this would have otherwise been a Five Star review.

First thing they want you to pay to park your car $10.00. if you dont pay and park in the mall lot they put a car boot on your wheel $60.00 to take it off. Or they will tow your car for $300.00 huge scam the police just let them do it also. The club is nice and big, food is really good and drinks are ok. Music is not so great, I am an old school music fan. I dont like todays music and this place plays a lot of it. So just to be clear this is not an old school grown folk music spot you been warned.

Happy hour is the best time to get there even though it will be a packed to madhouse. Once happy hour starts is when you should order drinks or food. Once you have had a good amount of beverage in your system stay for the party afterwards. Music was good and environment was nice. Dont order anything after happy hour, not worth it. Save your money go to happy hour enjoy it to the fullest extent and then stay around for the party. I didnt have any of the food so I cannot comment on that.

Be careful with the bouncer trying to charge $10 for people to wear a hat and you cant pay that to the cashier it has to be to him. Spoke to the manager and he did nothing! The bouncer was ready to fight us just because of a hat ridiculous! Hire better people that didnt just come out of jail! Sad because we actually liked the barthender but unfortunately the management at this Place is a joke. Scamming people is Allowed here with the bouncers!

I enjoyed my experience here. I went here a few months ago for brunch. I am not from Miami and I was impressed by the atmosphere. I did not expect it to be like a club that served brunch. No fighting, no beefs. Everyone was there to have a good time. The food was really good. It took us a while to find parking because we was not trying to pay to park in a strip mall parking lot. That is the reason I gave it 4 stars.
