“Best beach in south beach area...!!” - First, let me clear that south beach is not a beach name, it’s an area in Miami beach (again, city name is Miami Beach, not Miami). So, what I found, all fun happens here at South beach Famous beaches (Lummus Park-21-45th st beach) are here. Famous st ocean drive, mango cafe and, shopping at Lincoln rd mall, art de deco district, all r here. The only prob is parking- as city is not that big, I went to south beach around 2 and I did not find any parking, was roaming on road for 2 hrs and then went to south point beach out of frustration Tip- go there by 10 am and u ll get municipality parking ($1/hr) at 13th st near to ocean drive This is longshore from 3-4 st to 47-48 street So you need to find out which part of it is best to go..(recommended 21-45th st). Beach is really beautiful. Wide shore. White sand... Calm and peace. Soothing waves... less crowd- scenic beauty... Water is clear and looks greenish under sunlight making it desirable. asking you to come, have fun in the water. water sports and snorkeling are also there. You can book in advance taking the whole package. That would be cheaper. Shower facility is there at the beach and its clean. Lummus park beach is best among others. Near to ocean drive, parking can get at municipality parking (before 11am). Beach is very wide unlike other beaches in Miami. Plenty of options out there.

On ne peut pas sasseoir sur une chaise si on est pas attitré à un hôtel. Ils chargent le parasol...imagez à 40 degrés sans parasol......On était trois dans un hôtel, on a eu droit à 2 chaises pour 3 et 2 serviettes. Mais, notre maitre dhôtel trop gentil, nous a permis davoir une place pour remplacer une personne manquante mais sinon, on aurait dû se partager 2 chaises. La plage est super belle et super propre mais, sasseoir cest compliqué. Et faites attention, les vendeur deau et breuvages, négocier les car je me suis fait avoir...un ma chargé un Coke 3$ et lautre 3 pour 5$.

Hermoso Parque + Verde Es una hermosa combinación de verde, mar, arena, playa. Es un lugar para hacer vida al aire libre. Cuenta con juegos para niños y un sendero que recorre de punta a punta para poder correr y disfrutar del día. También cuenta con mucho verde, bicicletas y mucha gente haciendo deportes, gimnasio y demás.

Best part of South Beach! The "strip" with always something going on and tons to see and do. Like others said food is better and cheaper on Washington but you are paying for the scenery here. Restaurants will all try to get you in as they get commission for bringing you in off the street. Be wary of the 50% off deals at night as the drinks are usually $18! Also tip is included by default since Europeans never tip so be careful not to tip twice. They base the 20% included tip off the original meal price, not the 50% off discount. Youll never see so many 8-packs in all your life. This is fitness central!

Lummus Park is the green space between the street and the sand on Miami Beach between 5 & 15 Street. It has a wide walk way thats perfect for biking, jogging, rollerblading, etc. This continues on to the north on the sand side of the hotels on Collins Ave. Volleyball Courts south of 9 Street are always entertaining. Also recently, at 9 Street, theres been the development of a little Muscle Beach workout area. There are pull up bars, weights, and assorted other equipment. The park is always great for any outdoor beach activity. Highly recommend stopping by.

Es ist einfach Miami Beach Feeling schlecht hin. Das warme klare Wasser, die Poser, im Hintergrund die Skyline und über einem Flugheuge und Helikopter...das Gesamtpaket ist grandios! Zumal, parken auf dem Oceandrive kostet "nur" 4$ pro Stunde, das geht durchaus!

I like to bike through here when in town just to take in the sites. During the week there is not much going on, maybe a few volleyball games and people working out in the gym area. But on the weekends its a whole new ball game. All the volleyball courts are filled and it fun to watch. There are people on seqways, roller blades and other modes of transportation. The place is usually clean but there is the homeless element. They just sleep and hangout. They dont bother you with begging.

Bien lugar, para descansar después de un largo recorrido por el Beach walk. .. la vista de la Collins Av. desde el parque es muy buena y pintoresca... se puede apreciar la arquitectura que ha hecho famosa a South Beach

The beach is a stones throw away from Ocean Drive in trendy South Beach, in Miami Florida. You can ride on the bike path next to luxury condos and cool off while cruising past locally docked Yachats and sail boats Its close to decent but pricey restaurants, hotels, Air B&Bs and trendy clothing stores. Why go to Starbucks when you can sip the local coffee? Its strong, mixed with milk and sugar with a decidedly Cuban flair. Not for the faint of heart.

Très belle plage et lieu très animé en soirée, disposant de belles lumières colorées sur les façades ! Néanmoins les prix des restaurants sont très chers (en moyenne 75$ pour un repas basique de 2 personnes) !

Belle plage, magasin et restaurent à proximité, une allée pour marcher ou faire du vélo. Le stationnement municipale qui est à un coin de rue, nous a juste coûté 5$ pour toute laprès-midi.

Very nice to just visit. Dont buy into the superficial hype of the restaurants and bars on Ocean Dr. Its a tourist trap, it just happens to be located on ONE nice street in South Beach. Go two blocks to Washington and the food is half the price, and better tasting. I guess you are paying to know that the ocean itself is nearby, because you cant see it from the restaurants lol

Drag queens, dirty south beach people on pills with hangovers, cracked out club freaks, parts smell like sewage, nasty attitudes, superficial degenerates, cheesy souvenir shops, overpriced food. Ive been to New York, L.A, Chicago...this place is the bottom of the barrel, its the burned rice you have to scrape off the pot, its the toilet paper stuck to the bottom of your shoe!

Its a great place to hang out, spend time with your family. Although it sometimes cannot let people relax. It has places so people can play sports and since its in Miami, the sun heats the water, making it colorful and alive! its also an awesome place to work out since there are different types of humans beings that are SUPER pleasant to the eye of another person.
