What to learn something about the local fuana and flora? Enjoy pretty shaded enclosed loop trails? Wish you could find a nice hike to take young hikers and out of town to without facing the mass population? Did you answer yes to more than one of these questions? This is the place for you, the guided tour of the loop let you learn about some local plants while staying cool. This less populated trail is a great choice for young hikers who take more time to get places. Plus, the views are stunning.

Awesome gem tucked away in Oakland. The huckleberries are in season now so theyre ripe and absolutely delicious! Shaded hike with diverse foliage. Id say is doable for anyone who is active. The pathways can be a little confusing, so just make sure you follow the posts for huckleberry. Check it out!

Theres a nice, fairly easy loop hike here. Be sure to pick up one of the info pamphlets so you can learn about the different local plants. There is a bathroom, but no water at the start.

Nice 2.7 mile hike. Mostly shaded. Apparently supposed to be a lot of interesting plants and stuff but I didnt see much in late December at least. A couple geocaches hidden here too.

Lots of variety in a 2 mile hike. Dark, thick woods. Shady creeks. Sunny hill tops with great views. Well maintained stairways. Safe for children. Not wheelchair accessible.
