Lovely, quiet site. The docent was great, and patient for all the questions we had. At the entrance of the site to the presidio is the cross marking California Historical Marker #128 (the landing site of Vizcaino and Serra). The museum covers a wide period in time and the site behind it allows for the walking up to the eagle statue and indian grinding holes.

Richard was a very informative docent. Clean and nice grounds and bathrooms. Interesting exhibits. Free! We donated a couple bucks.
