Beautiful park, watching the ducks in the lake is always so amazing. It is a big park with many beautiful things to see. The childrens play area consists of 3 different equipment which seems to be appropriate for 3 different ages but the children can roam where ever they please. My favorite thing about the play area is that its a great distance from the water which makes it less stressful. The park is always nice and clean. The staff is always walking around making sure everything is nice and calm. The only thing i dont like is how full it gets on the weekends, and the park charges for parking. The parking fee isnt ridiculous but if you wont be there too long theres no reason to pay. Overall this is one of my favorite parks to take my children to.

Big long park next to a river bed, though it is well out of site. Great place to lay a blanket and take a little nap, or come with tots or kids, for the playground. Older kids can find small areas to get small games of soccer or football which ever fútbol you like, lol. There were 2 ponds. If you like fishing, yes, this park is one of the few, I am sure there are BIG rules about it, but I didnt ask, didnt have my fishing pole with me. The park is very dog friendly, but be careful there is a lot of wildlife, ranging from pigeons, ducks, geese, and squirrels, so if you dog can get sidetracked, it may not be the best to start, but if they stay close or are leashed and follow basic commands, especially sit or stay, would be helpful.

We love walking our dogs here. Theres pot heads around sometimes which sucks but whatever thats so cal for you. Mostly people just wanting to walk and spend time with their families. The city tries to keep it in good shape it seems . Watch out at dusk and mornings for the murdering cayotes in the area.

Its ok .. And for partys you have to paid for parking then they kick you out . there is a dumb Downey cop waiting for you to park your car in unmark place then when I ask the cop where can i park he said it doesnt matter I give tickets to anyone I want.... Wow f u

Quite and very peaceful during the week. Weekends are crazy! Busy and very limited parking. Swans can get aggressive so be careful with small children. Access to a bike route but there are many homeless people on the way so dont be surprised.

Small park but very nice! The park has wild bunnies, turtles and ducks in the lake. My husband and our son go fishing here. There is a community room you can rent for special meetings or gatherings.

I usually come often and there is always trash in lakes. I do not think k is a sure thing for animals that are here . And fishermen leave threads that are moored in the wounding or deletions animals.

Have been coming here since the 70s! Love the ducks and geese and everything else here. The big spaces surronded by trees.. I must say the pond has been looking a little dirty as of late.

Quiet place to regroup. Walking paths around 2 duck ponds with all types of birds who arent afraid to approach you and ask for what they want.
