Played here on 07/13/2013, ok course, but a very very very boring round of golf. We all shot very well but after the round we all looked at each other and agreed it was very uneventful. A lot of the greens need some TLC, I guess the old timers forgot how to use a divot tool and you can tell it is taking its toll. The next time I am in the area I will spend the money and play somewhere like Rock Harbor or Shenandoah Valley. Only gripe and it may sound dumb but what course doesnt sell logo balls? I collect them from every course and the guy in the "pro shop" if you call it that looked at me like I was an idiot for even asking for one. They are transforming sand bunkers in to grass ones for what seems to be just a maintenance issue, should have just improved them and kept them sand.

This is now Sly Fox G.C. Changed ownership last year. Good course for $$$ value. It is not the best groomed course in the area but the layout is nice and it is challenging but not at a pro level. Good for all levels of golfers. Tucked in the Shenandoah just outside Front Royal Va. It has beautiful scenery as well. Would give

180 degree turnaround from Jacksons Chass. Course is in great shape and is only gonna get better. New owner introduced himself to us and is very nice. Definitely worth playing again.

Course is in excellent condition now that the new owner has taken over. Owner is continuing with upgrades to club house on a daily bases.

Jacksons chase has a variety of challenging holes, every one is completely different, it never gets boring. Very well taken care of!
