The area has miles and miles of trail for public use through the state park and along the shores of the Jordanelle. A trail head, restrooms and parking area are located at the north point of the lake. The Outlaw golf course at Hideout Canyon is not private and is open for public use by golfers, but not for other uses such as hiking around on the golf course. The views are spectacular!!

I love the views in this area. I am working in the area, so I get to visit Hideout every week or so. Ive been there in all seasons, and the views are breath-taking. I hope to retire to Hideout after my kids have left the nest.

Called up looking to hike and was treated very rudely on the phone. Apparently this is a private golf course, not a public place to hike.
