The venue was beautiful, wedding planner did ok (but not great) at keeping the wedding flowing, and all and all the event went great. However beyond the event my wife and I ran into some serious problems with this venue. From day one when we went in to visit the venue we were told how they ran their venue and what the rules were going to be, fast forward to when we were to finalize the event and everything we were told in the beginning had changed. They stated that nothing had changed so if that was the case then we were just lied to so they could attain our business. There seemed to be zero communication between all the staff there and misinformation was rampant. When the day of our wedding came we ended up being short several guests, so we asked our coordinator if there would be a refund for the guests that did not show up. Her response "lets wait and get the final count and then yes, if you have less than expected you will be refunded for those people". Which was great until we tried to get out deposit back and ced refund where we were told by the same person who guaranteed the refund "i do not know where you got your information from but we absolutely do not do refunds", "and you wont be getting any of your deposit back because your guests each had one free drink so that was paid for with your deposit". The venue is absolutely lovely, but beware these people are out for one thing only, and that is your money. Given the chance i would avoid this place like the plague, the management here at ashton gardens north has the absolute worst business ethnics i have ever encountered in my life. Beware of this place, they will entice you with what seems like a beautiful picture then it will all come crashing down. Yes our wedding was lovely, but we are absolutely stunned and crushed at how we were treated after the event was done. Between having over $2000 withheld, money that was promised back to us multiple times to our faces. Find some place else and you will be much better off. In the event that you do try your luck with this decrepit place, avoid having Taylor as your wedding planner at all costs. She was overwhelmed at the wedding and needed the assistance of our bridal party to keep the wedding moving, and she is not afraid to lie to your face.

Staff was not professional and woman assigned to be our coordinator (who claimed to have everything handled) was a pitiful excuse for a wedding coordinator and did absolutely nothing to help run the wedding. We went to A LOT of trouble to have everything itemized and laid out for her, did all the work and labeled everything that needed to be done and she did not even look at any of it. No programs were handed out, no one was directed in the right place, one of the bridesmaids had to usher everyone to the main building before the ceremony. We paid copious amounts of money for appetizers and no one recieved any appetizers at all except for the bridal party when we were taking photos. We ordered mascoto to be served and there was no mascoto all night long only white zynfindale. No one was encouraged to go to the photo booth, no one was told to look at the large seating chart poster (which we were encouraged to have printed instead place cards). There were coloring and activity books for the children at the wedding that were never given out until the mother of the bride asked about them and had to personally pass them out at the end of the wedding. The party favors for the guests were not passed out and no one even knew there were any. The list of things that were not done or poorly communicated goes on. The food they did serve was very good and the venue itself it pretty but that does not make up for the horrendous service that was there. I will never recommend this venue to anyone else unless they hire an actual professional to help the day run smoothly the way it was planned out and they actually receive everything they paid for.

My husband and I had our wedding at Ashton Gardens North. We cannot say enough about how incredible all of the staff at Ashton Gardens is and how hard they worked to make our special day perfect. Amanda was our coordinator and worked so hard before the wedding with me to plan everything and the day of the wedding to make sure everything went perfectly. We only had four months to plan our wedding and with Ashton Gardens and the help of Amanda, it was possible to get everything planned and have the wedding go so smoothly. We brought our decorations the night before at the rehearsal and Amanda set everything up so it was ready for the next day. Everything went perfectly! The venue is incredibly gorgeous and I cannot wait to see how the pictures come out. We did the candlelight package for our Friday Evening ceremony and everything was beautiful. Amanda made sure everything was timed perfectly. My guests keep telling me that the picture of my dad and I walking through the front doors with the light behind us is going to be incredible. All of my guests raved about the great service of the staff and how beautiful everything was. Thank you Amanda and Ashton Gardens for making our day so incredible! We could not be happier with the kindness and service we received and how everything turned out!

When my husband and I were looking for venues we had already seen about 12 before stopping at Ashton Gardens. This venue absolutely blew us away and we chose it almost immediately. Erika Berry assisted us the entire time and I must say that our big day would not have been as smooth without her. On top of the venue being beautiful and all inclusive with food, linen, etc our coordinator (Erika) was the cherry on top. She did any and everything you could think of to make our day as easy as possible. Despite the fact that some things went wrong with the wedding party at the last minute, Erika was very calm and zen! This made everyone breath easier and focus on enjoying the day. I cannot even think of a better coordinator! I dont know how much she makes to do her job but I am sure she deserves a raise!! If you think you have found your wedding venue and its not Ashton Gardens, that must mean that you have not stopped by to check them out yet. Hands down, the most beautiful venue in Houston!

My husband and I just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary and I wanted to make sure to let everyone know that our big day would have been a flop if it wasn’t for Laura and the rest of the fantastic staff of Ashton Gardens. We were one of the unfortunate couples to have been left by the wayside when our original venue left town, but we soon realized it was a blessing in disguise because we could not have asked for a more beautiful place to be married. Everyone we came in contact with did everything possible to make sure our day would be one we would never forget. There truly are not enough kind things I can say...Ashton Gardens as a place was everything I had always dreamed of, the food was great and the staff was even better!!! Thank you!!!!
