I do like the coffee house meets charity concept. There is a place in Denver this brings emergency aid to impoverished or war torn areas that operate out of a coffee house and a thrift store in the Arvada area. This places mission, however, is a lot harder to figure out. I tried and read all the literature - but I didnt quite gather what all they were trying to do. Neat place, average coffee, and nice people - but Im not 100% sold on the organization theyre running. If the coffee was better Id be back.

This non-profit cafe is cute and altogether wonderful. The food is tasty. The employees are joyful and sunshiny. And, the prices are fair. This place is much more than just a cafe though, it helps fund an expansive non-profit that does so much good; photos and art and other examples of antfarms prloific work are showcased in the attached community gathering/art gallery/dining area. Theres often something neat going on here.

A non-profit community outreach program that served breakfast burritos and scones!? DONE. I volunteer here because of the people...I eat here because of its fresh and tasty pastries. I should point out that their HOURS have moved around. Since Jan 2015, The Café and Bakery is open from 8a-3p and the community activity room is open from 8a-6p. Tuesday-Saturday! Yay AntFarm.

This is a non-profit concept. Hoping it kicks off, met the owner with introduction from a work friend and liked him very much. Seems out of place in Sandy at least right now. Would love it to be open in the late evenings (as is the plight of a night owl vs coffee shops).

In my opinion, it is the best coffee shop in town. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is open but still warm. And the food. Wow. Great food. Also, they are really involved with their community. If you get a chance, ask them about it.

What a find in area that appears to be a good food desert, sorry Sandy. The best biscuits and gravy Ive had except my own. Finally! Best mocha Ive had in a very long time (my significant other) Go there, you wont regret it.
