Imagine that Pete Dye knocked up the mayors daughter and his punishment was to build a course in High Point.Your result would be Oak Hollow Golf Club. Oak Hollow is a really good design that begs to be played from the tips (only 6,500 yards). Holes 4-13 are all on the water and the view is spectacular. Even though the design is great, this course feels like a muni. They are obviously short on necessary cash for proper maintenance. The bent grass greens are healthy but extremely slow and grainy. They have lost about 30% of the fairways, but every course in our area has after this tough winter. There are a few collection areas near the greens which makes chipping difficult and you will see a few of Pete Dyes signature pilings, but they dont really come into play. Lots of fun to play, just dont expect a beautifully manicured course, but what do you expect for $25 after 3pm. Enjoy!

Great to play at. The staff there and members that I ran into were very friendly. Any group that I caught up to let me play through and were very polite. The course conditions are probably deserving of 4 stars but for the price its a great value. The layout is unique. There are a few holes that run along side the lake and make you choose between a long carry or a layup. The greens are in good shape. They are a little on the slow side but they roll true. I will definitely play this course again when I am in the area.

Awesome. Best value of any golf course in the area. Great layout, incredible scenery, greens are nice, just a tad slow. Not super long (6,500 from the tips), but still very challenging. $17 to walk 18! Will definitely be back.

Played on 2/8/15. Course was in good shape. Friendly staff. A lot of good deals in pro shop. This is one of the best courses in the triad when fairways come in.

It is a beautiful design with excellent fairways and greens. The greens have hidden breaks. Yardage is well marked. I look forward to playing the course again.
