The course is decent. Not great.. just decent. I played there about a week ago for my first and last time. First of all, our group had scheduled the first 4 tee times of the day.. and they let 3 groups go off before us. Next, the starter yells (literally yells) at our organizer saying "you need to get your group going! Youre all just waiting around!" Unfortunately, we hadnt been given cart keys yet. So obviously "going" was not an option for us at that time. After realizing that he was the reason we were all still sitting there in our carts waiting to start our day, the starter chuckled, then mumbled something about how our organizer needs to get his act together. Yeah... ok. When we finally got out on the course, one of the marshals came to my foursome (first one in our group to go out) REPEATEDLY and told us we needed to pick up our pace, we were backing up the entire course, and that our rate of play was not sufficient. Ill say this: the groups in front of us (that were given our tee times) were playing a scramble. There is no way a standard foursome can keep up with people playing a scramble. Not happening. Also, there was an entire open hole between us and the group behind us. I fail to understand how my foursome was repeatedly approached by this marshal and told it was our fault the course was backed up. We have all been playing golf since we were children and have nothing but the utmost respect for the game and the venues in which we play. Being hassled like that all day was completely and totally uncalled for. I have never experienced anything like it and hope to never experience it again. I will NEVER go back to Minor Park.

This was the second year we had a group outing at this course and both times the field marshalls shadowed us the entire time we played. Playing at this course made me feel like a kid in daycare. I have never seen so many field marshals at a golf course before. The course is actually in terrible shape. My recommendation would be to get rid of most of the field marshalls and hire more grounds crews. Ill be lobbying to never have our company outing here again.

Minor Park is a great place to golf if youre looking to have some fun in Kansas City! The course is very well maintained, and the staff is superb. They always keep the course in great condition and treat all players with respect. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend! When I was in college at Rockhurst I played here at least once a week.

The course is always in great shape for a course that has as many rounds played on it as Minor Park does. The staff is always friendly. If you cant have fun playing golf here, you may need to take up bowling.

Fun course and well maintained. This isnt golf on the prairie. The fairways are well maintained and the greens are true.
