Ive lived in the community since I was a child, have always used this community center. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and attentive to any needs any one has. The gym has most equipment that youd expect in any gym, and all of them are machine equipment, meaning no free weights, great for beginners. There are 3 treadmills and, 3 bikes, bench press, fly machine, leg press, bicep curl, and a few other machines. Additionally, there is never usually more then 2 or 3 people in the gym at the time which usually gives you a lot of room to work and have personal workout sessions, I use this gym every day for the most part and have 0 issues at all. I know alot of people dont know the operating times, I know the gym is open 6am to 8pm Mon thru Fri. (as well as the pool) Saturdays and Sundays have an alternate schedule. The gym and lockers rooms/showers are ALWAYS clean, and there is usually an Anne Arundel County Police officer that patrols the area of Seven Oaks on most days. That officer is paid by the Seven Oaks community and he is always friendly and attentive with random crime checks and traffic enforcement of the cars in the area. All in all, the Community Association is a great place that truly puts in the effort to help out the community, they even host some parties and barbecues from time to time.
Seven Oaks Community is a terrible association. I have been living in the community for over a decade and they are quick to tow your vehicle parked in your parking space. They are not willing to work with homeowners. Sometimes I wonder if they are getting kick backs from towing companies etc.
We only go here to get our pool passes renewed and every time, no matter what time of the day, it is a lengthy wait. There has to be a better way.
Old equipment and could do with better opening times for the gym.
Nice meeting area for the association
