I have been to several Marriots but this one failed me. Starts of with a bed that reeked of sweety smelly feet (I called so that they could get it changed and they did). Once it became time to go to sleep I realized that the bed felt like sleeping on a bunch of river stones (not pleasant), it was so bad that my back hurted all day. There us only one reason to stay at a hotel and it is to sleep, if you failed at making the bed a priority, then in my book tou failed at being a hotel. This is why I rate this place a 1

Stayed at the Marriott before a Rutgers/Maryland football game. Free parking and a 15 min walk to the stadium. Very convenient. Got upgraded to a one bedroom suite as a Marriott Gold Elite member. Printing annoyingly costs $0.50 a sheet for black and white and $1 per color page. For some reason there was no shampoo or bath soap in the room which was odd, thankfully I had my own. I didnt bother requesting any. Free shuttle takes you up to 3 miles away which was convenient to get to the metro.

The location was ideal, however the stay not so much. The rooms were tiny, and it was difficult to even find room for the luggage and place our toiletries on the sink. Also, the shower was not ideal. We had to turn on the shower and be soaked in cold water. When I sat on the bed, I smelled an awful smell from the sheets. It reeked like smelly feet, which made me think hey never changed the sheets. To end things, the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Wonderful facility located directly on the campus at University of Maryland. 5 star feel with private courtyard for drop off and pickup. Restaurant with good food and service. I liked the decor. didnt see the conference center. Room was not very large but was well designed and clean. Combination of modern fixtures with a classical feel. Full workout facility fully stocked with professional grade equipment.. better than some gyms!!

The staff was very nice. The restaurant in the convention center building had GREAT food. The showers were every nice but the water never went down, which is not good because its a stand up shower and my feet is now covered in dirty water. After removing the draining cover I saw the actual drain was covered in hair. It looks like the drain havent been cleaned in at least 1 month. But overall my experience was really good!

The College Park Mariott Hotel & Conference Center is a great conference or meeting Venue. Professional staff provide a variety of services and amenities. Up to date, fresh decor. Restaurant on premises, catering available and easily accessable from area highways, ample garage parking. Ive attended a few conferences here over the past three years and the experience has always been excellent.

This was honestly one of the friendliest, most helpful, accommodating staff that I have ever encountered in my many, many travels. They were truly the epitome of great customer service and it was an absolute pleasure staying here and hosting my event at the Marriot. I will forever appreciate how accommodating and eager to help you all were ! Cheers to a fantastic hotel and amazing staff.

Great stay, front desk was professional and courteous. Parking was a bit challenging due to construction on garage. And getting in and out can be a little tricky if not very familiar with the area. Room was clean and well appointed. Good TV and beds. Excellent complimentary products. Mini fridge a nice plus. Housekeeping was great too

The room was clean, well-appointed, and quiet. The staff was courteous, I cannot say enough positive words about the Courtesy Van driver Lawrence. He drove me to the UMD campus and, to my delight and surprise, he saw me walking back to the hotel and stopped to pick me up! I am definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Best Marriott in the area. All of the staff were a little weird, but that wasnt enough to mark down to 4. Great location if youre going to the university. They were doing some work on the parking garage. While not a big deal, the instructions on where to park were not clear.

This hotel is really good. The staff are Ok. The rooms are Ok. Clean, and stayble place, the bathroom has everything except tooth paste and tooth brush! The wi fi signal is kinda slow. If youre looking to stay a night or 2 in an Ok place. Stay in this! U might like it.

Attended an awards luncheon. The food, service, and facility was very nice and up to date. Parking was handy in an adjacent garage. Location was not relevant except that it was central to the attendees, but for U of MD families, it may be the best.

Ive attended many professional events here, and theyve always gone well. The facility is attractive and recently renovated. The rooms are well designed. The food and service have also been very good. Looking forward to future events there.

If I could give it a 0 I would. I had a valid reservation and showed up later in the night. They over booked. They couldnt get me into any other hotel and I didnt get into my room till after midnight. "I was lucky some people left early".

Service: meh Conference room: pretty spacious, good for a medium sized gathering. Bathrooms: I feel like I shouldnt be relating a school bathroom to a hotel bathroom, but I guess thats more the fault of the users than the custodians.

Not very convenient to my location in DC, but the amenities and staff were very pleasant and professional. I felt the chairs used in the conference room were of better quality than normally expected, which was a pleasant surprise.

Very friendly staff, very large comfortable rooms. Free parking available on site. Room was quiet with good curtains to block light, and easy to work heat/AC system. Had a few drinks at the bar, a very pleasant experience.

Place is a nice size, clean, as well as great for events because there are a lot of places in the hotel you can use to do an event. The service though... could be much better. Not terrible... just lacking in some areas.

This hotel seems find a way to get subtly worse every time I stay here. Unless you have a strong, strong need to stay in College Park and not DC, skip this hotel. Its incredibly overpriced for what youre getting.

Every aspect of this hotel was fantastic. Not only were the rooms and food better than expected, the room and shuttle service(s) were both amazing. Definetely will stay here again the next time I visit Maryland.

Ate at the Commons restaurant. Gorgeous and classy decor. Reasonably priced. Had the Commons burger and it was great. Flavorful with a bun toasted just right. I work in the area and will definitely be back.

I stopped in the lobby to retrieve an item from the front desk. The staff was friendly. The lobby was very clean. The courtyard/driveway was nice and wide with plenty of space for people loading and unloading.

Its a decent room. Not a fan of half Glass divider between toilet and shower with no door. Also dont like the shower head, it doesnt spray out far enough. Hit my arms against shower knobs several times.

I had an excellent stay. We arrived late night, check in was quick, concierge provided me with extra blankets, hotel was extremely clean , bathroom was excellent, beds were super comfortable as well.
