This course has the best and fastest greens that I have played yet this year. Very smooth and consistent. Fairways are in great shape, but a bit soft. But if you tend to hit the just slightly sideways you will not enjoy the heather and hazard areas. Knee high heather surrounds most holes and it is not fun checking for ticks and other type mites every time you have to enter. I am a fairly skilled golfer who hits the ball straight, but some of my playing companions were less skilled. This resulted in over a 5 hour round. It is a links course with no protection from the wind and it blew 15-20 steady with some 30 mph gusts. This added to the difficulty immensely. A very nice course but also very difficult for the average 85-95 golfer that plays a less demanding course all the time.

This is a great golf course out in the middle of nowhere. Very challenging layout with lots of great golf holes. Has 5 sets of tees to suit any game, but probably not a good choice for beginners or very high handicaps, Very well taken care of course with smooth, fast greens. Fairways in great shape and are fairly wide but if you stray too far you can forget about finding your ball due to thick grass and high heather. Lots of bunkers, but sand was very consistent and they were kept in good condition. Would highly recommend this course for those looking for a great layout and a challenge using almost every club in your bag. PS:If the wind is blowing this course is a monster!

One of the toughest courses in the metro Louisville area. Fun, challenging, links style with elevation changes, water, and bunkers galore. I typically play 15 or 16 holes at par bogey and then completely ruin the other two or three. I always love spending a day here though.
