Very interesting from a regional history perspective as well as having the only actual dress worn by Vivian Leigh on permanent display. True GWTW fans will enjoy the collection. A very inexpensive stop as you enjoy Mariettss historic square and shops. Be prepared to read the historic documents on display to get a true understanding of how this movie empacted Atlanta and charmed the nation.

I was on vacation in Marietta Georgia and heard about this museum. I love gone with the wind so it was a must for me to come Andy investigate.. most of the museum is pictures letters and autographs of those associated with the movie.. a lot of Margaret Mitchell. They did have a couple of authentic costumes.. I wasnt blown away but it was interesting if you like to read the details.

Nice exibit but not worth the $7 admission for just a small exhibit where you can almost see them thru the gift shop. We did not know it was that small we could have just hang out the gift shop instead of paying $26 bucks and we were done looking in 10 mins.

Ticket cost $7. Museum was rich with history of the book, the movie, and the author. I enjoyed stepping back in time for the price of a latte. Souvenirs were reasonably priced.

We have read "Gone with the Wind" 3 times. Seeing dresses, paintings, history of the novel was terrific. Plan to spend an hour in museum. Also has a small gift. shop.
