The middle school I work at recently had our Christmas party here. The months leading up to the event were great, I communicated our expectations to Dean and we signed a contract for the date and time the event was to be held. When the actual day came around and I arrived with my team to set up the decorations we were shocked to find the room we reserved was a total mess. Popcorn on the floor, beer spilled across the bar- and no one making any effort to clean it up. We were literally using the sweeper vac to clean ourselves, and no ELWCC staff made the slightest effort to help. Several young staffers actually walked in the room, looked at us cleaning frantically (one person was actually a club member!) and walked back out without a word or sending more help. When I tried to ask the bartender how they could do this to paying customers, she barked at me that I shouldnt be surprised as this is where the golfers drink and walked off. Many of our guests werent sure which room to go to, because they forgot to put our name on the sign upstairs and there were several other parties going on that night. The food was being served by one harried waitress who is the only person that night that made any effort to treat us with respect. We felt very insulted, we didnt matter enough to even provide us a clean room and sufficient staff. Needless to say if the food tasted good when it was made, it was cold by the time we got to it. The vegetarian dishes we were promised ended up being salad only, and again, served only after the lone waitress was able to get the other food out. When I later emailed Dean to voice my concerns I got no response. It didnt bother him one bit that he and his staff treated a group of hard working local teachers who paid to have a pleasant night as if we were freeloaders who didnt deserve the time of day. I will NEVER do business with them again, and I have made sure to warn my students and their parents of my experience lest their special life events be marred by the clubs arrogance and poor standards as ours was.

I got married here on July. Mr. Dean is very helpful. However, on the day of my wedding day, there was another event going on. I was so stressed and crying my heart out because at first my DJ showed up so late and now my venue is a wreck. I paid for extra money for my cocktail hour food so that my guests can enjoy their meal. THe food that I ordered is not complete. THere were missing some food tray and their presentation was not even nice. Secondly, during my reception hour, there was no staff on my floor but the bartender and sometimes she was not even there. My guest has to serve their drinks..My photographers became my coordinator, they tell me when to cut the cake, and let the kitchen knows that the cake needs to be distributed to my guest. THere was no single staff serving to my guests if they need more water. And also, the food turns out horrible. THe staff did not even ask my guests how do they like their meet cook. Its all well done. I felt like my wedding became the second priority since there was another event going on. I felt left out and I was crying and very disappointed. Their service is not professional. Even my guests, which are my entire family, are so disappointed. SO, if you have extra cash, try to rent the venue that will notify you everything and will give you professionalism.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work with Ashley McCormick at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club. We had our wedding reception there in October and she made planning this special day so easy and stress free! She worked with me every step of the way and was so responsive in my numerous emails and phone calls. She even made a contingency plan for us just in case it rained at the park where the ceremony was held. During the reception, she was the “quiet strength” in the background, orchestrating every detail flawlessly. The staff was wonderful, the reception area was STUNNING and the grounds around the club allowed for beautiful photos. (The food was delicious too!!) I highly recommend having your special day at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club and I know you will LOVE Ashley just as much as we do!

Its a country club, full of rich geriatric pompous stuff shirts who roll around on their stupid little carts, with their ridiculous outfits. Perfect place for pretentious douchebags that think the entire world should kneel as they walk by. Golf is of course, the worlds 2nd stupidest pastime...... topped only by curling. That retarded "sport" where some idiot releases a 40 pound puck, and two other morons brush the ice, trying to get it to stop. What an absolute waste of decent real estate. All so a group of convalescent home escapees can still feel relevant. Golf is why I support euthanasia. Thumbs down all day, every day.

I had my daughters baptism reception here in July. I was pleasantly surprised by the staffs work. The pasta bar we did was exceptional. All of my guests complimented the food and location. I absolutely look forward to having another event here. Dean stopped by to make sure all went smoothly. There was another event taking place in the larger hall, and we had no issue coordinating where everyone should go. I had a wonderful experience.

Had my 21st almost Cancer Free costume party there in October. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE! Service was 100% and Dean guided us through the entire party process. Great people to work with and BEAUTIFUL for any event!

Nice club house, great bar, large pro shop. 2 - 18 hole courses. I live the North Course. It can be very intimidating. The South course is more forgiving. Join and enjoy.
