I bought a promotion through Local Flavors for $52. After I bought it and printed out the ticket, there was an expiration date on 11/13/16, which I was not happy about. Due to medical issues I was not able to attend by the expiration date. I called Alhambra and they said they had nothing to do with it and I would have to call Local Flavor. I did, and after 18 minutes waiting on the phone, they told me I have to go back to the merchant. So I called the merchant and they said they would offer the promotion at an additional charge of $55. Uhhhhhh! I paid $52 for the Local Flavor plus $55 that is a total of $107 and their ticket prices during the week are $38 per person. The owners who run this company are scamming me as a potential customer. I will not visit this theatre ever again nor will I buy from Local Flavors.

Hi Craig, I usually enjoy the shows at your fine dinner theater. But the "Man of La Mancha" had a gang rape scene that was very offensive to me. I walked out and went to the ladies room until I heard people roaming around at intermission. I did not want to go back in for the second act but it was my boyfriends birthday. I love going to the Alhambra but the director missed the mark on the level of violence brought to that horrible, raw scene. My sympathies go out to the many woman who have been attacked or raped in this country. I was deeply saddened to the core of my being. Maybe I am thin-skinned but wow. That one ruined it for me. I would like some kind of assurance that future shows will not have that sort of graphic violence. Thanks for all of the wonderful productions over the last 5 years. Bravo.

Entertainment was great and fun. Service was horrible. The waitress collected cups from our table and several others as we ordered refills. She then disappeared to get the refills. She came back with the same cups but didnt know whos table and what guest each cup belonged to. She proceeded to distribute the cups anyway. The other tables never noticed they got the "right" refill but in someone elses cup! Only my table noticed. My table caught on and proceeded to watch the waitress do this same thing two more times. Dis-gus-ting. Never again. Never. This theater seemed to be owned/operated by seniors (no judgement here) who employeed very young employees and didnt bother properly training them. Or they are encouraging this behavior to cut corners so they can successfully push volumes of people through.

Thouroughly enjoyed the Alhambra experience. The show itself was perfect (A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline) but any show would be great in this theater. from where I sat (center stage right, second tier) there couldnt be a bad seat in the house. The menu, while limited, is superb. And the service is phenomenal. The dinner is served rather than buffet style which makes the experience more elegant. Super friendly staff overall and very attentive wait staff. There are not too many places like the Alhambra left in America, take advantage Jacksonville. Make sure you visit, at least once, on opening night. They host a cocktail party with hor dourves and champagne. Dont miss the best live theater in Jacksonville.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience seeing a Christmas Carole. The food was delicious AND abundant, and the service was fantastic. Youre treated like royalty all evening, and for how excellent the view is (we were right next to the stage) you really do feel like royalty. I dont think theres such thing as a bad seat in the house here, but I definitely recommend the tables closest to the stage for a really amazing up-close-and-personal experience! Holy moly. The cast was so, so talented, and the costuming/makeup was great (and I was close enough to see that very well, trust me). I highly recommend it, and will most certainly be back at least a couple times a year! What a great find.

With the return of the chef, the food is very good. Overall just an amazing thing to get live entertainment, food and service, upscale venue. All at a very good price. You can reserve your seat. I have ordered successfully online but there are some rules to be careful of, mainly do not reserve single seats across the table or leave a space (if this was an airline, it would mean couples should not book both aisle seats in a row, or aisle and window hoping the center stays empty). You join the buffet in the order that you arrive; so 7:00 for an 8:00 show is ok but at 7:15 you are both 15 minutes later and face a longer line. Considering Im always late I do enjoy the bar.

My visit to Alhambra was good. I had not been there in quite some time. I actually introduced it to a friend from Savannah, GA. The only improvement needed is more space at the table. For a large man it is tight. Im only 53" and I could hv used more leg room. I kept bumping the guest behind me too. The show and the red snapper meal were great! I tried sugar-free vanilla ice cream for the first time. It was good as well. A nice couple shared our table. Seated at C-12 A& B. The reservationist said a slight turn to the right was needed to see the stage. I beg to differ. I hv the sore neck to prove it. That was kind of misleading. Be well- J & J

We went to the Alhambra for the first time on Tuesday to see Murder among friends. We greatly enjoyed the experience. Our seats were teriffic and the production very well done. Our biggest surprise was the quality of the food. This is not usually as well done at similar venues. Our first course of Potato leek soup was wonderful. The strawberry shortcake and bannana pudding cake were delicious. The only crticism is that the knives provided on the table were not adequate for cutting the excellent prime rib. Please provide the proper steak type knife to those who order this beautifully prepared beef. Marianne Kuhlthau Ponte Verdra Beach

This was my very first time going to the Alhambra and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Even though it was out of town for me, I would love to go back and plan to.The staff is extremely nice and very efficient. Everyone was very nice and the food was fantastic! Sooooo much food! The show was excellent! We saw White Christmas and the actors were superb! If I had anything to complain about at all, it would be that the chairs were a little uncomfortable to sit in for a long period of time. But that isnt even a complaint as far as Im concerned. It was well worth the drive!
