really nice and amazing place and museum of you are into trains, railroad and such. they have working model trains. reminds me about my youth when I used to build up the model trains in our basement. pretty cool to watch and right next door to a real railroad.

My two year old always loves watching the model trains! The only difficult thing is trying to find parking--there are only about fifteen spots in front of the railroad society. Otherwise, you have to pay $5 at the Caltrain parking lot next door.

Great restoration of historic train depot. Amazing collection of artifacts and huge model Railroad display. All members friendly. Very welcoming environment. Certainly worth the trip.

Amazing place for people and kids who love trains! Really cool miniature train setups with huge landscape recreations. Best model railroad Ive found in california.

Id give it 5 stars if they were open both weekend days.... but I understand the challenges of volunteer driven op. Great place to hang out with my son.

We took our kids here (they love trains) and loved it. They have step stools for kids to see and have a great setup.

Very fun place to take a look at a huge train set up. My toddler loved it, and kept her entranced for a good 2 hours!

My kid asks to go everyday. Dont expect too much, as for it is free. They do ask for a small donation though.
