The main reason for the five stars is the free tea someone leaves out for cyclists (CP is mostly a bike route that connects to the I-90 Trail, though cars use it too--its super mossy in there!). There were two rather sophisticated, very fresh teas, some glasses, and several lawn chairs. From what Im told, the tea is almost always there, especially on weekends. There is also an incredible view of Mt. Rainier from that spot! It is on a switchback, so tough to see it or stop on the way down, but its towards the bottom, near the water, just off Lake Washington Blvd.

the view is amazing and the park isnt usually crowded. This park is great for running through as well as it connects to Mount. Baker beach park all the way down to Seward Park. Up the hill are little shops and restaurants as well as Franklin High School. lovely area!

Coleman is a great neighborhood park. Its upper portion is mostly wooded, with a huge community garden hidden among the trees. Follow the trail down, under a few bridges, and you are at beautiful Mt. Baker beach. Whats not to love.

Wonderful Olmsted park with trails, pea patch, forest, historic architecture, tunnels, and a serpentine bikable road route to the lake.

Fun little park on a sunny day and with a dock and launch for your kayak or SUP. The park is loud as it is under the freeway.
