they only seam to have hormonal women in there social services building... they are all control freaks. i understand there there to help, but come on. when there is a lobby full of 15 people and it is close to 11am closing its almost like they go slower... they chit chat with each others, and they cant even do it while there working.. they will reach for a file, stop in mid air to start talking... heaven forbid there is a baby there, then be prepared for them to all have to hold the baby and pass it around till there dam good and ready to start working again.. i face many challenges taking care of my 78 year old other who has nothing and a stroke victim.. wet there for bread and sent away. they close at 11am, it was about 5 till, doors still open with people inside. they said were closed.. i explained my mothers situation, i was there, the door was open, there was a table full of 200 friggin loafs of bread, and they said sorry were closed.. like they were bank of america and there systems were all shut down or something.. RUDE ! i too got bed bugs from a bed there.. the thrift store is a joke.. same broken down junk day after month after year... a junky dvd player thats only 20 bucks new is about 22 dollars... i do not need there kinda help.. will go without..

The items here are indeed second hand, but you expect that from a thrift store, its one of those understandings. Ive had a great experience when Ive visited the store, I was able to complete four Halloween costumes at a great price and several at home remodel projects. NOTE: anyone buying second hand furniture, ALWAYS buy what you need after inspecting thoroughly and NEVER buy a bed second hand unless it is from trustworthy family members or friends. Wash clothes when you get home, always in hot water. So far, my experience has been well, many items are easy enough to use and such, I never recommend buying dry-clean-only items unless you have a great dry cleaner ready to get it fixed up for you. I recommend this store so long as those going in know what a thrift store is. ;)

heres a story about what happened at salvation army store this afternoon. There was 2 people running the register. One of them was the manager. I got someone else. I bought something small for a buck (theyre always over priced on most stuff) . It was an old tv antenna splitter in the box from the 60s. The lady asked if I still use a tv antenna and I said no, I sell stuff on eBay and swap meets and i could get a few dollars out of it. The manager heard what I said and I tell you what, if looks could kill! She got pissed! Her fists clenched-up and her face turned red and mean. Were talkin even more than that guy at pick n pull a few years ago. She didnt say anything (like what could she say?) but I could tell. MEGA EXPENSIVE. RESELLERS ARE BLATANTLY UNWELCOME!!!

Weve been in this store 4 times in the past year, and their "collectibles" area has the same stuff sitting there, unsold. Why? Because damaged merchandise doesnt sell, and neither does overpriced merchandise! The chipped Franciscan China is never going to sell at your prices; mark it $1 and maybe someone will do you a favor. I support charity thrift stores, but you get your stuff for free and youre trying to sell it for above retail. And putting UNSOLD eBay prices on your items is shifty.

OK stuff but their prices are comparable to brand new. Their "antiques" section is WAAAY overpriced. They want full-blown, 150% eBay retail plus. I still go in every once in a while to see if they may have accidentally under priced something. Just dont tell them that you intend to flip an item, they HATE that!

Large selection of clothes at reasonable prices, especially compared to other thrift shops. Decent selection of books, most at a fixed price. Small selection of movies in both DVD and VHS formats. Small selection of puzzles and board games but beware that most are missing pieces.

I donated a car that I didnt need any more. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. Good people trying to help others. Keep up the good work!

So over priced! A scrap of fabric (not like silk or anything) for $11. Ugh I just need to give up in this place.
