Came with high expectations and left very disappointed. Medium-well steak came to the table very rare and after returning to the grill, came back slightly more done...but still a far cry from medium-well. Another member of our party had a filet that was tough and chewy. Waiter seemed not too concerned about the poor preparation. "I must have switched the order." Room was very chilly. Best part was the sides. Probably could have had a better dinner across the street at Burntwood for half the cost. Never again. Followup: Its been 5 days since I sent my contact info to the representative from Hyde Park and have yet to hear back from anyone. Im beginning to think their offer below was nothing more than idle words. Minus another star in the ratings.

Prior to my visit about four years ago I was an avid visitor on special occasions to your restaurant, On that occasion I took my wife and daughter for their birthday ( both was Apr. 9th and two very good friends, we ordered basically the same total meal as other times, 600.00 with tip, it was terrible. I gave a review describing it and was contacted by management who offered to comp me but I turned it down. I was given a gift for your place three yrs. ago and I used it last week 9/22 the visit was most enjoyable and every one bragged about our visit. I will come again for my next special occasion, Thank you, Russ and fly.

First, the service was great. The pretzel bread that they serve before the meal was out of this world. I ordered the 22oz bone in ribeye and requested it to be cooked rare. The steak was fatty, not marbled; there were large sections of pure fat, but it was correctly seared and was rare. I am from a family of butchers and was a butcher throughout high school and college, the steak reminded me of a select or no roll grade based on the heterogenous fat vs lean content. I expected a prime grade and it to be well marbled. Overall the steak was OK, but nothing I would write home about.

If youre looking for a steak that is between 15 and 20.00, and youre not picky about seasoning; this is the place for you. The maitred was courteous and helpful. The server was courteous and prompt. My steak was doused in butter, which to me is not a seasoning, but Im sure there are some people out there who would love it. For two people, look to spend about $70.00 with drinks and tip. I would probably choose to try somewhere new rather than go back, but if someone suggested it, I would not dissuade them. This restaurant is the essence of a so-so experience.

We were out for a nice night and it did not start out well. Food was okay but only after my steak had to be sent back. Ordered medium well and received rare. Ordered a baked potato to go with it and that was undercooked as well. Luckily my husband ordered a side of mashed potatoes and the portions are large so we were able to share. Didnt stay for dessert as we were underwhelmed with the experience. Probably wont be back as there are plenty of better restaurants in the area. To high of price for the service that was given.

I took my wife out for a nice dinner to celebrate her birthday. We arrived with a great greeting, then brought to our table. We sat down and noticed a birthday card and rose petals on our table for her birthday!! The service was amazing!! The food was Amazing!!! At the end the waitress came out with a slice of cake for us to share, we never would have expected that!! We would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks!!!

Staff needs a lot of hospitality education, and kitchen needs to be on their game and not deliver out a piece of meat tasking and looking like dry jerky when one orders a medium / pink center. Too much competition around you folks to mess up like this!!! Shame!!!

I ordered a 12 oz prime rib steak, and about 11 1/2 oz of it was fat. Obviously prime rib steaks come with fat, but I literally had 2 sq in of meat and the rest fat. I did not enjoy the meal at all, and will not be returning.

We had dinner there last night and the wait staff was fantastic amd friendly. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. We normally dont spend this much on a night out but it was a nice treat. Id definitely go back.
