About 11 friends and I purchased VIP tickets for an afterprom party. Absolutely NOT worth the outrageously expensive price tag, especially considering the blatant LIES we were fed. Promises: - Party ends at 4am -3 floors of music, including a glass enclosed rooftop -VIP tickets ensure skipping lines, soda, access to exclusive VIP sections Reality: - We were the last ones on the dance floor, and they turned the lights on at 3:15, WHILE we were dancing. Then, we were kicked out at 3:30. The mans exact words were "clear out, partys over." Nice service! - Although the promo poster said (in very small print) that not all floors would be available on all nights, it was implied that more than one floor would be open, and that the glass roof top floor would be. Instead, only one floor was open, and it was barely full. More people were sitting down and making out rather than dancing, probably why they got away with ending it so early. -We did not skip any lines and had to wait forever; everyone seemed to have VIP tickets. The soda was coke knock-off brand, and it wasnt available unless you specifically asked for it; the only drink actually set out for us was cups of tap water. And the exclusive VIP sections did not exist. Other miscellaneous vices: -The people were utterly irritating. It was full of suburban posers who had come only to use the NYC snapchat filters and make out on benches. -There was no coat check/bag check, so someone had to constantly not be dancing to watch our stuff. Ugh. Final assessment: Dont come, but if you do, definitely dont buy VIP tickets; its a waste of money. We give it two stars because the DJ was cool and listened to our music suggestions.

They dont respect your $$$$ here! I went for a networking event at Rooftop 760 (AfropolitanNYC). The event itself was decently organized. Upon the conclusion of the event, I was unsuccessful in retrieving my jacket from coat check. They make you pay a $5 coatcheck fee upon checking in (mandatory coatcheck by the way, they tell you this at the door). I had everything in order, my coatcheck ticket, after barely looking I was told my jacket was not there, and then an unruly bouncer proceeded to try to kick me out. I asked to speak to a manager, and I refused to leave without my property. Long story short, after close to 20 minutes of asking, a manager was not made available to me, even though clearly one was around. If I didnt have two of my friends with me, interceding, the bouncer would not have backed down, would have tried to get physical, and I would probably have been forced to defend myself (and he would probably try to sue me for damages, and the law would get involved, over a $200 jacket that the guys in coatcheck were too lazy to look for). The guys in coatcheck kept my ticket, and I left, without my jacket and being able to speak to management. I was able to retrieve my jacket 4 days later. Not one to complain, I feel it is a waste of time going to this place, even if you absolutely dont have a choice, dont waste your time, theres better establishments where they respect your $$$$. PS. I would give you zero stars, but I have to pick one in order to write a review.

Chauvinistic and sexist bouncers and awful management!!!!!! (Especially toward women!!!!)A truly terrible experience from start to end!!!! All of the bouncers and management in this "night club" are degrading and disrespectful as all you know what towards women!!!! I went here with a group of my girlfriends a couple weeks ago, and the experience was beyond awful!!!!! For starters, we had to wait in line for what seemed like an eternity. THen the bouncer at the door kept staring at all of us, making us feel extremely uncomfortable...... Sorry buddy, but no free action for you tonight!!!!! None of us would give you the time of day, not even in your wildest nightmares!!! So stop with the advances and sexual harassment, that is illegal!!!!!!!!!!! And if you are suppose to be representing the club, you are not doing it very professionally. Try being gentleman and respecting women, it goes a long way....... The worst part of the experience for us was all the feces and urine smeered all over the toilet and floor areas in the bathroom!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have the management at Copacabanana heard of Lysol or Clorox wipes, or just routine cleanliness?????? Cleaning your business establishement goes a long way toward making sure you would have happy , repeat customers!!!!!! Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES EVER, DO NOT EVER, EVER, EVE Visit this disgusting, urine soaked, feces smeared, sexist, chauvinistic "business establishment" !!!!!!!!

I have attended the club a handful of times with friends on different occasions. Each time I must say was a decent experience. On Saturday July 30th, I went to Rooftop 760 to celebrate my friends 30th birthday. While leaving the party, I was attacked on the stairwell in front of TWO security guards. A male party goer thought it would be okay to harass and antagonize my friends and myself as we walked down the stairs to the exit. He punched me twice in the face and security did nothing but escort me and my friends ( who tried to defend me )out of the venue while allowing this man to walk out untouched. I sustained injuries to the right side of my face that resulted in swelling and bruising. When outside I asked one of the guards to please not allow this man leave the vicinity because I had called the police. The security guard then proceeded to tell me to be quiet and stop yelling at the man who had just hit me because all I was doing was making him more upset. All this happened as my assailant was standing next to the guard laughing and carrying about how he hits b*****s. NEVER in my life have I ever experienced such victimization. It is shame that we went there that night , got bottle service and all and were subjected to this. The security guards were good for nothing and they made me feel further victimized. If you are looking to have a SAFE and fun night. Please do not go here.

I came here for After Prom, but I had such a terrible experience. At first, I thought that the night would be fun because the DJ was playing good music and the venue was pretty. However, as the night progressed I noticed that most of the attenders were from the same school, even though it is supposed to have students from different high schools (usually). The crowd started to build up as more people came in, but I was surprised to see that the only thing these people wanted to do was express their hormonal selves by dry humping the whole night. The DJ played music according to what the crowd was more responsive to, which I understand. But, I didnt recognize half of those songs all because I go to a different school or dont listen to that genre. The DJ did play some music that was according to my and my friends taste, but it was short lived. The security didnt care much about the crowds behavior, but I understand if that isnt part of their job requirements. The club had plenty of seats, which was a good thing because I didnt dance much or have a great time. I think this party wouldve been better if the venue worked with schools or the students in them to set a specific date for their prom rather than letting it be open to everyone. My friends and I felt like outcasts just because no one knew us. Overall a bad experience, and I expected my final night as a senior to be better.
