I used to come here several times each week, whether it be just for a walk or to take a dip in the pool. Most often, I would be found on the tennis courts that were once there. Unfortunately, when they resurfaced the courts, they did not replace the nets for tennis, but instead some other sport that is typically played indoors. I guess I took for granted the convenience of being able to play whenever I pleased, as this park is only a couple streets away from me. Overall, this park is a nice place to gather with friends or family and is often busy with various sports leagues making use of their grounds, as it seems most in Lakewood are.

Great community park. Has a public pool with a water slide and a newer recreational area for young kids to play. Dog friendly but please clean up after your dog. Large field for football/soccer/sports. No basketball hoops. The city took down the basketball hoops because of racial tensions which would invoke fist fights between the players. Maybe they will get them back one day.

Awesome park with a terrifyingly high playground. Thrill seeking kids will be in there element. Fearful ones will still make due with the lower sections and smaller play equipment. Lots of fun and right by the library. Bathrooms are a short walk past the garden as well which is great. Very pleased.

This park is big and has a lot to offer: baseball field, soccer field, pool with a big slide, large playground, and theyre even installing a futsal court. The only its missing are some full-sized basketball courts!! Once they bring basketball back, Ill give this park 5 stars.

Quieter than Lakewood Park, Madison offers a very nice playground, swimming pool, grassy play areas and picnic facilities. Ample parking except when athletic or special events. Adjacent to Madison branch of Lakewood Public Library and Across from Mahalls.

My daughter really enjoys this park. Lakewood does a fantastic job by keep their public parks very clean. The only issue, there are not enough parking spots. But if you live near by, you can always walk there. I think there is a pizza place near by.

Amazing park with an awesome playground thats cool enough to get hurt on. Just how I like it (I hate those plastic abominations that are no more than 5 feet tall, this is a real playground).

City put $$$ into improving the ball field -- thanks! The pools jumping. Theres almost always a family party in the pavilion. Its small-town middle America -- and thats a good thing.

Its amazing how much has changed downtown. We are definitely on the way to making this city worth visiting once in a while. I like to take a walk here once in a while when at lunch.
