Family bathrooms, clean and safe. We live in Colerain and take the extra time to drive here. Plenty of parking providing easy access to the playground, eateries, green space or old airstrip now used for casual bike riding. There is no cost to enter the park or for parking, whether you are a resident of Blue Ash or not. Lots to do for all ages. The playground is covered in sections with astroturf, allowing children to slide down the hills safely. The park is padded under the gym sets as well. There is a gym set for wee ones, along with a safe teeter-todder. There are faux rocks to climb, along with lots of thick cord netting and slides. The playground provides fun, safe and challenging activities for children. The pictures speak for themselves. In the summer there is public yoga classes on the green. I believe they have a Farmers Market in the Summer as well. Perfect place to ride a bike or non-motor scooter. Lots of families walking their dogs. There is a little dog park located on the far side of the park near the old airstrip. Right now The Brown Dog Cafe and an ice cream shop is located in the park, within easy walking distance from the playground. However, visiting today in February, there were construction workers working on another eatery. I believe the plan is to bring more in. The city is investing a lot and it will be exciting to see what the park will be like in the future.

This park is still being built, but its already pretty nice. I ride my unicycle there several times a week because of all the open space afforded by the former runways/taxiways of what used to be an airport. Its got wooded areas as well as grasslands/wetlands, so you DO feel like youre getting away from urban hustle and bustle in places. (That sense of quiet you get in parks like Ault.) The value of having a huge pavement area without cars is actually a surprising nice perk you dont ever really think about for a park. But for cyclists, rollerbladers, and skateboarders, its actually really nice once you have it. There are almost always people flying RC airplanes. Theres a dog park thats probably the most popular feature on a daily basis. The park is perfect and popular for flying kites and playing catch or frisbee. The farmers market and regular yoga classes are gradually increasing the sense that its an active place, which it needs to be a "community" asset, and I think the newly opened and opening restaurants will increase this feeling. The park is easy to get to ( very close to I-71, and a straight shot to Cross-County, I-75, or I-275, via either Glendale-Milford or Reed-Hartman.

The old airpark ist still getting going, but its still super nice to check out now! Blue Ash has moved their concert events to this park, and it certainly helps the crowd! If youve gone to Red, White, and Blue Ash or Taste of Blue Ash in the past, you know its super crowded and if you dont set up early, youre going to have a hard time seeing the concert. This new space makes it so much easier! Its wide open, although they still cram vendors into small rows, but the events are much more enjoyable now. Although gone are the jumbotron type screens to see if you were in the back. But as for the park itself, theyve added some trails, and you can use the runways as trails too! To run, bike, skateboard, whatever! Its kind of neat to walk around an old airport strip. The parking is not so plentiful yet, but thats coming too. I cant wait to enjoy this place more once its all up and ready and pretty!

How many buildings does it take before a park for recreation becomes a business park? Blue Ash is going to try to push the envelope on that question. A work in progress for this over-developed urban park. Even though "high-end housing" and "mixed use" seems to be part of the second phase of the project that once was the regional Blue Ash airport, the first phase has its share of concrete paved areas and revenue generating businesses. There remains a patch of trees and open, wild field, but youve got to question how long the city will allow such abominations to exist.

Summit is an awesome park. The kids love it. It has all sorts of climbing structures, a large and small slide and artificial grass hills for kids to slide down. There is also an area for younger children, but there is no barrier to keep them contained and there is a see saw type structure that older kids occasionally get wild with. I would recommend bringing some cardboard for the hills as most kids have some, although sometimes the cardboard recycling bin has some in it. The trees in the area are young, so on a hot day there is minimal shade

BEST PLAYGROUND! This park is slowly becoming just an overall awesome spot. The play area is for kids ages 2-12 but is built strong and big enough for adults to play with their little ones as well. From the four seater see saw to the rock climbing wall no kids will be bored here. An additional bonus the bathrooms are in view of the playing area so the siblings can play while one takes a potty break. Great space and a must visit even if you are just passing through.

This is a great little park with restaurants, a amphitheatre, dog park and observation tower. Ive only come for special events - specifically fireworks, food truck events, a dog expo and the pig and whisky festival last weekend. I love how events are spread out - not overly crowded with plenty of seating. Would love to come back for a non-event day to visit one of the restaurant patios and just walk the mile marked loop around the park.

We stopped at Summit Park to try out their unique playground equipment. It was a very interesting playground and my son loved all of the cool ropes to climb through and over. There is no shade whatsoever at the playground so it gets really hot in the summer. I didnt have time to check out most of the other facilities but it seemed nice. There was still a lot of construction going on when I was there.

This is a great, uprising park. Its still under construction, but theres a lot of activities that can still be done here. In the summer, the park offers free health classes daily which is great! My only complaint is parking can be hard to come by on busy days and they need more restrooms! There are currently only two individual stall bathrooms amongst the whole park.

The play areas and nice and new (fresh ideas) and are the only reason for any stars. Its a shame they felt the need to cover everything in cement and fake grass. The added restaurants and lights everywhere make it feel fake and forced. Not a pleasent place to go if you want something natural and comfortable.

What a great park!! As they continue to develop the land around it the sanctuary at the old Blue Ash airport is truly one of the nicest and best developed suburban parks. My daughter loves the playset with all the different types of playground and to fly kites in the large open area in the middle.

Extensive renovations and careful planning have made this a destination for daily park visits and special events like food festivals and concerts. There is a dog park, hiking trails, restaurants, and a state of the art kids play area, and soon there will be a sledding hill.
