We very much enjoyed the free tasting here following our tour of the Biltmore home. The server conducting our tasting did a great job of being attentive but also giving us time to enjoy our tastes. We did not feel rushed, but Im sure it helped we were there in January after the end of the holiday crowds. Our server also did a great job of explaining to us about each of the wines, and we appreciated that we were able to try as many as we desired. We did not take a tour but we did go to the other bar to try some of the premium wines. Its an additional fee to try those, and we were fortunately paying attention and noticed that one on the list was the same as one we tried for free in the first room. After making sure this wasnt true for any of the others, we selected 3 to try. Ultimately, we decided the ones we tried for free were all better than the premium ones. Im sure everyones tastes are different, but we definitely felt we could have just stuck with the free tasting. Ultimately, we had a positive experience and left with about 7 bottles of our favorites that we had samples to take home and enjoy. Theyre a bit pricier than our usual price range for wine, but we plan to enjoy them with nice meals and/or for special occasions at home.

I didnt do the tour. We just walked through and did the wine tasting. Warning... they release you afterward into their gift store... for those of you who have have 6+ wine tasting, your judgement may be impaired... go eat at the bistro and come back when your mind is cleared. Alto of the stuff they are selling in that store is not from Biltmore estate and you can get it cheaper in the local Asheville grocery. Also note... I like the grape juice better than some of the wine.

I think its really crappy you have to pay $50 per person to have access to the winery. We visited the house last year but didnt have time to get to the winery. On a recent trip to Asheville we wanted to go to the winery but found out the hard way you cant get to it unless you have tickets to see the house. Definitely not paying $100 per couple for wine tasting. Definitely disappointed Ill probably never visit the winery.

Our wine tasting server Charles was awesome. His recommendations were excellent. We were never rushed and he was knowledgeable about the wines and surrounding area. The Savignon Blanc reserve was off the chain. If you like red blends, the Cardinal`s Crest was outstanding. We also enjoyed the Syrah. Love the tunnel leading to the tasting room. Felt like we were in a wine cellar.

Did the premium wine tasting with my fiancé as a couple. Wish I remembered our hosts name, she was a very sweet blonde from Greenville. Fantastic service and great snacks--she even drew a cute little wine glass in chocolate syrup for our truffles. Will upload a picture. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

A very nice tasting room and courteous staff. I suppose the biggest complaint was that a majority of the wines just arent very good. But its still a fun experience and you should, hopefully, find at least one wine that you like. I think my favorite was the Christmas white.

This was our very first introduction to wineries and the art of wine tasting - and oh yeah - the house was nice too. The winery was empty and we took full advantage of the 2 hours alone with the wine master. A truly enjoyable experience we hope to relive again this summer.

Amazing part of the Biltmore trip is the wine tasting, what an amazing server we had that gave us amazing pointers and shared her honest thoughts and helped us figure out which wines to try. On site tons of shops to go to as well and a lot of wine choices!!!

Good choice of wines, nice range of prices, terrific setting--and a nice gift shop in the bargain--Id go back to the estate for the winery alone, and the house itself is definitely worth seeing in December even for one who turns cranky around Christmas.

The tour could have been better. Didnt really see much of the operation. Our guide was great, but there could have been more content. The wine tasting afterword was well worth it. Because we were on the tour we got to sample additional wine.

Much better than we expected. We took the Champagne tour and the wines were amazing. 7 different tastes including a rose. We love sparkling wines and Biltmore did not disappoint. Will definitely make a return visit.

Nice location and the winery itself is nice. Waiting for 1hr+ in line for the wine tasting itself is a bit much. Wife and I skipped that, bought a bottle, and left instead.
