Monday, 10/5 I was in the ER and was referred to Kelly Forster at MCHC for blood work. I made an appointment for Tuesday, 10/6 at 3:15pm for what your office referred to as an “emergency follow up visit”. I was told this would speed the process up so that I could get in and out faster. I got there early and was told my appointment was changed to 3:30. At 4pm I asked what was going on with my appointment and was told “10 more minutes”. At 4:20 I told them if I wasn’t seen now I’d have to leave. By 4:30 I was being seen by Dr. Forster (a full hour after my appointment). At 4:45 I was sent back to the front to get my blood drawn, and then schedule a follow up. The girl at the front asked me if I also wanted to make an appointment to get my blood drawn and I said, “No, I’m here to get it drawn now”. She informed me that I couldn’t because the phlebotomist was leaving at 5pm. It was 4:55pm. I explained that I had been waiting for almost 2 1/2 hours, and that the sole purpose of this appointment was to get blood drawn. She then told me that the phlebotomist already left (by this time it was 5:01pm). She recommended I reschedule. For an EMERGENCY visit. I was also told I could come in for a blood draw on another date as a walk-in. Why? So you can waste even more of my time? Needless to say, I did not reschedule. I waited in your facility for over almost 2 hours before being seen by anybody, and didn’t even get what I came for in the end. Oh, and as a bonus? I gave a nurse 2 papers from my ER visit and was told “nobody could find them” when I asked for them back. It took a few minutes, but luckily, those were found... I have never been to an office that is run so poorly by such lazy, incompetent people and had I known this, I never would have wasted my time.

If you happen to have insurance, save yourself the time & trouble and find somewhere else to go - seriously. Youd think calling ahead and making an appointment would be the smart move, right? Not in my experience.. My last & final visit there, it had been thirty minutes and I still saw others being taken back - they were either backlogged excessively past my appointment, or letting in those who had been waiting (without appointments) in ahead of me. Amidst the crying children and overcrowding, I chose to just get up and walk out as I was so tired of settling for the terrible service and the disconnect of the staff (honestly thought I had strep at the time, roughing it out was a better option). Doctors seem to be ever-changing, and at this point you probably realize you shouldnt expect much - some doctors may be audibly rude and condescending out in the hall about patients, you might get a doctor whos demeanor is completely off and unprofessional and even dismissive towards you - Im not sure, these were just a few of my experiences. Its a shame. I remember the first time I went here was just around when it had opened up & I genuinely had a quality experience, even including polite staff, a super fast intake time, and a pretty quiet and serene waiting area. What a shame for the the burned out staff, unhappy patients, and the mistaken investors who sunk money into this place, and the unfortunate individuals who will have to continue to visit here because they have no other choice. I cant say with true certainty what the intent or motivations are of any individual or group of people as were mentioned here, this is my individual opinion and experience, and any speculation.. was just that. That being said - I stand by my opinion.

I made the mistake of taking my son here in hopes that there would be some great ped. available, and there could be, but not by evening time when I leave work. They keep saying that Jaimie Price is the only doctor available to see my 1 month old son (at that time). After a couple visits, I was really irritated after bringing my son in on a Saturday morning (with a bad rash on his face and an APPARENT milk allergy) to be turned away within minutes with an answer from this "doc" that hes just "being a baby." He indeed had an allergic reaction to milk, and reflux. The last time I was there was to bring him in for his 3 month immunization, and prior to leaving, had asked this same "doctor" for a reflux prescription (I was asking her as he was vomiting in my hand) and she told me I had to come in another day for it. Upon researching Miss Jaimie Price, I found that she is not even a doctor, as they have told me numerous times over the phone that she was, and not just that but she specializes in womens needs, not BABIES. To put the icing on the cake, after his immunizations, they told us to sit in the lobby for 15 min. and wait to see if there was a reaction. That was great, BUT the form we were given to fill out for him was impossible to ask a 3 month old. "Is the patient dizzy? Is the patient experiencing heart racing? Does the patient feel sick?" YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. Asked the receptionist if he could be evaluated by an actual doctor before leaving, and it seemed I had just interrupted her Facebook session. My bad! NOT EVER GOING BACK.

I wish it was possible to give 0 stars. The wait time is ALWAYS ridiculous. They also have a "confirm 15" policy. They tell you that your appointment is 15 minutes earlier than what they actually schedule the appointment. Knowing this, I brought my 7 week old very sick daughter in for a same-day appointment and purposely came a little late, not wanting to wait the typical 60+ minutes in the lobby with a sick child. We were 12 minutes late and they wouldnt see her, citing their late patient policy (10 minutes). Really? There have been many times that Ive waited over an hour; wheres your late policy then? Since my daughter has been born Ive been there 6 times and every time have had to ask to be put into a room because even though Ive scheduled her appointments around her nursing, weve always been waiting so long that shes had to eat again. They REQUIRE you to have a blood pregnancy test the day before IUD insertion. But the Dr isnt there on Saturdays and the lab is only open during the day. So I have to take two days off if work to have a procedure done that takes 10 minutes. This is just the start. I could go on and on. If you have other options, just dont go here.

All I can say is if you make an appointment here its best to not have a single other thing to do for the day. Every appointment Ive made Ive been in the building for 3+ hours and only 20-30 minutes with the actual doctor, who Ill add is not pleasant. Doctor H is rude and does not make a first time pregnant woman feel comfortable. This place is not recommended

I just need to say that when a person makes an appointment, that appointment should be honored. A person shouldnt have to sit & wait an hour or more after their appointment time. This has happened to me here multiple times now. Im sorry but your walk-in policy needs to go, its causing the people who make appointments much irritation.
