Helikon Gallery & Studios is an incredible space and community, their desire to support and promote all mediums of art is inspiring. My husband and I have found a second home in this space, we love to stop in for every months new featured artists and continue to support resident studio artists. We love Helikon so much we recently held our wedding at the gallery, the staff were so supportive and helpful it felt like we were just planning with our family every time we met with them. They are extremely flexible, we wanted to host a live local artist during our event and the team at Helikon went above and beyond by partnering with the artist (Thomas "Detour" Evans) and featuring him for the month of our wedding. Thank you Helikon!! I encourage everyone to get in and support this movement!

Helikon is the model all galleries need to follow: A community resource for artists, art lovers/collectors, and learners. They know how to do it at Helikon; great shows featuring both amazing local artists and others, studio spaces, even merchandise and refreshment. On top of all that, Helikon hosts quality workshops and presentations, educational opportunities for adults and children, and regular life-drawing opportunities. Best of all, theres just great energy in this highly professional but refreshingly unpretentious art space.

Cool spot, 2 main galleries. Great "up and coming" fresh artwork on the regular. Each show can be drastically different from the last which I love. (theres nothing worse than feeling like a gallery has the same ole same ole) A coffee shop and hallway dedicated to past artwork and in house artists side projects. Not to mention the working studios upstairs. Lots of art to see EVERYWHERE and great 1st Friday environment.
