Great museum with solid mission to promote Philly artists. I like how they unite diverse folks from many Philly schools and traditions. As an addiction psychologist in Philadelphia I feel a special committment to local artists with local professions and we love the Woodmere. Love the Philly art scene with the Barnes, Art Blog, ICA, PAFA, PMA, Vox and so much more.

Such a gem of a museum, which focuses on works by artists from Philadelphia. Since Philadelphia was such a hotbed of art, especially in the modernist movement of the eary 20th century, there is a great deal of wonderful art, both in their permanent collection and their special exhibitions.

Went to see the A Million Faces: The Photography of John W. Mosley exhibit. Excellent photography and a REAL history lesson. Great space for viewing the exhibition. Plenty of parking. The gift shop is a bonus.

A little gem of a museum. Id give 5 stars if the place was bigger. It takes about one hour to visit the entire place.
