Well... The room was nice... But thats where it ends. Upon arrival, they valet essentially ejected me from my car. I tried to explain I would find my own parking spot but they werent having it. I didnt even have enough time to gather all my things. Later that night, I wanted my phone charger, stating that either the valet could get it, he could bring me to the car to get it, or he can pull it around so I could get it. None of which was an accepted answer. The stay was comfortable except for the fact that they cemented the widows shut like I was in a mental hospital for suicide prevention. The temperature was cool and the bathroom was clean. The shower had great water pressure, which is always a plus. The beds were neat and clean too. The next morning I went downstairs for their "included breakfast" as advertised on the website but after eating just a little (since I wanted to go to the waffle house after) they charged me and my sister 20 dollars each. On my way out, they revealed to me that they charged me 43 dollars for valet parking. Then, when I voiced how upset I was to a receptionist, I ended up with an enormous attitude. I doubt all these reviews are from real people who stayed because this place is hell. Hidden fees everywhere you go so watch out.

Each stay here brings a challenge. They canceled my reservation without my consent and I had to wait from 1am till 2am to get a room of their choice when I paid close to $400 a night for a king bed. On top of that the front desk clerk Alicia was so polite that, she told me the king room will not fall from the sky if they dont have it..... Wow! The staff her needs ethics training and the management needs an over haul. Spoke to Jim the GM last time and he assured me that, I wont have any issues going forward..... But I believe he didnt do anything to improve it keep his words. I have been a gold member for almost a decade and platinum with Marriott. Wish there was a Marriott property near by!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff from parking valet to concierge to check-in to dining area staff were all friendly, courteous and focused on great customer service. The hotel decor is outstanding; very spacious in the hallways and our room was beautiful. Breakfast there was excellent with ready to order omellettes and Belgian waffles. The fitness center is also great. The location right in the center of UPenns campus was very safe and comfortable for walking outside in the day and night. A wonderful place to stay!

This is my second time staying at The Inn At Penn, both stays being for the purpose of Speech & Debate competitions, and I could not be more pleased with my experience. The Inn is located within a 5 minute walk of almost every, if not all, UPenn buildings, and the facilities are plainly spectacular. The third floor gym provides so many amenities that show they really go the extra mile here - multiple device charging options, fresh spring water, face towels, etc. I cant give them enough credit for how flawless my time here has been.

I travel a lot for my job and this is by far the best hotel Ive been to. I never like sleeping in hotel beds because I find them uncomfortable, but this bed was very comfortable!! Punctual valet, location is great and the hotel is BEAUTIFUL! Whats more impressive its that the service is the best part of the stay. The staff makes sure youre okay without being annoying. Theyve got it down! I was thoroughly impressed and this is definitely the only place I will be staying when I go back. HIGHLY recommended!!!

An outstanding hotel. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The rooms are very well appointed. Very nice standup showers. Satellite TV with hundreds of channels. There is even an iPad in every room. They have robes in the rooms. And a small refrigerator, but large enough for several items. The bathrooms are very modern with high-quality fixtures. The restaurant is a good place to dine, however watch out for the buffet breakfast. At $22 it is a steep price to pay for your basic breakfast fare.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Heater/ac is nice and quiet. Unfortunately the doors are paper thin and you may hear quite a bit of chatter from the halls. Also there was basically no hot water on the 5th floor. Nothing like a cold shower to get you going at 4am! Staff was fine/bordering on annoyed by me checking out at the end of my stay. The greatest part of the hotel stay was actually a really friendly security guard while waiting for the valet.

What a shock. My fiance received an email barely an hour before her flight from Detroit saying the hotel is overbooked, and has her reservation transferred to a different hotel. The catch is that she booked it through Expedia... The hotel staff I spoke to over the phone stated that "third party" providers get the boot first... not who reserved the room first! I even had flowers ordered and delivered to the hotel... what a joke.

I stayed at the Inn in 2015, it was a pleasant stay. I didnt use any services other than the valet parking since I was there only for an interview. My employer uses the facility for office gatherings and hosted an end of year banquet recently at the Inn. Service staff were courteous, but loud during the event. Food was OK, though I am not sure if everything was cooked in-house.

I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff as hotels in larger cities tend to have reputations towards the opposite. Everyone we encountered was polite and helpful. I also appreciated the welcome letter and the text letting me know I could get assistance at any time. The room was clean and modern. Thanks for a great stay!

the rooms are nice, guest services not so much, the woman i talked to at the front desk seemed to have an attitude with everybody. they said there was guaranteed check in by 3pm. lies. she said they would txt us when our room was ready. also a lie. We were here for the made in america festival and they were not prepared for the large intake of people.

El hotel es muy vecino a la Penn University y esto es conveniente. Los cuartos son confortable y nuevos. Las camas son muy cómodos. El hotel es muy silencioso.

I have stayed there several times over the past month because it is close to the hospital. Staff is exceptional . The first time i stayed the room had a few issues but all the other visits everything was perfect. The only con is that the food places on site close early which would be ok if the vending area had a snack machine and not just drinks.

While the room was clean and very well maintained, I found it strange and rather disturbing that the bathroom had a frosted glass sliding door with no lock. While I was getting ready, I wanted to have our travel companions wait in the room, but couldnt because I felt there was no privacy. I would not stay here again.
