Pros: Clientale, smaller, no long lines at the concession Cons: Sound, display, and seat comfort not on par with Regal and AMC theatres. Small bathrooms and long lines. Concessions are now at the same pricing point as Regal and AMC. For example, you cannot purchase any drinks below $4!!! Allows patrons to enter after movie starts, does not turn on lights after show is completed. I used to go to the Ritz theatres for customer service, clientale, and good concession pricing, however only thing now keeping my coming back POSSIBLY is the clientale only. Very sad, Landmark Theatres decided to jack up the concession prices. Oh, and that "vegan" cookie sold at Ritz East costs $4.50 while charging $3.50 for Twizzlers. Next time, I will bring a cooler and backpack for snacks and cold drinks!

The theater is nice but the Philly parking authority wrecks the show in this neighborhood. They were towing cars like crazy on the weekend from spots that appeared legal-- but werent. Make sure you read the signs carefully. It will cost you around $250 for a parking ticket, tow, cab ride to the impound lot, plus a lot of aggravation. The city is broke but what a way to make money! Visitors from NY and IN in the impound line in front of us arent coming back. Hope the Ritz complains to the city--this is bad for their business.

i mean its the ritz. its going to be incredible. although because of the way i dress and my friends, even though we had the arlington suite. we were greeted with confusion everytime we walked in. "what are you doing here" we got asked.. its very biased. i had a hotel worker roll her eyes at me cause we were saying different words with the same meanings. just rude

Older theater so the seats arent the most comfortable, but the place does have a nice air of nostalgia and the people who work here are very nice. Limited snack bar has popcorn, candy, coffee and some packaged baked goods. They show a great selection of the small indie films that only get limited distribution.

The seating area has sufficient space to walk past the seated customers w/o stepping on their toes. Their popcorn is fresh and they will layer the butter for you. They ask you how you want it. They also provide a card for parking after 12 pm that will save you money for parking at Ritz East parking lot.

Great movie, snack and beverage selection (including teas). Always have a great experience and enjoy talking with the employees. They discount parking which comes in handy if you plan on grabbing dinner beforehand.
