Well, at least Lounge 125 (the previous incarnation) had good DJs. The newest version of this parking-structure "club" is big on attitude but short on style. I love Philly, but places like this are just depressing. It is as if an ugly bunch from Jersey shore decided to set up a club house in Old City. As a former bouncer at clubs in NYC and Vegas, I can read the fear in the bouncers eyes-- they dont know what is going on and are praying that a fight doesnt break out (sorry, but one fat bald man and a two little-helpers from Jersey doesnt really cut it.. it kinda looks like Santa with his elves). But its not their fault, the management is obviously out of their league. I suppose if the club can process enough coke dealers through their "VIP" line, they can stay open a few months-- but sooner or later, people will find a real club in Philly. I just hope the bouncers dont get hurt in the meantime. As for the rest: crowd 4/10; drinks 6/10; cover-- got in for $10 bucks, but for most it is $20. Smells like vomit (but maybe not all the time). On the good side, it is easy to make fun off. Overall impression: makes you appreciate cities like NYC, Miami, and LA.

I live in NYC but I came down to visit some old college friends in Philadelphia this past weekend. We ended up at Recess and had an AMAZING time. The DJs were great, the atmosphere was ridiculous, and the crowd was filled with great looking women. Recess stays open till 3:30, later than most other places. We partied till the early morning and had a great time doing it. Next time Im in Philadelphia I heading straight for Recess!

This is easily the best after hours spot in philadelphia the manager Zach and the owner Ryan are so hospitable and the service from Cupcake and company is amazing. They not only provide top notch service and excellent atmposhere but they support the finest Basketball League in Philadelphia the PMBL. God bless this wonderful place

I saw Eddie Murphy and Bob Backlund pitching drinkss and Ted night playing the harmonica .Meanwhile Barney the Dinasaur was strolling Down a long series of Spiral staircases wearing a naughty unsamble of Garder belts and Leather strap on...besides that place was Great !

Awesome place to book any event. Atmosphere is great. Very clean bathrooms. Service unbelievable! I own a cleaning service also been in the restaurant business. They give you the full treatment. Bottle service outstanding.

Very rude bouncers, bathroom attendants, and bartenders. Would NOT recommend if youre looking for a good time. Too overpriced for nobody even there ! Completely empty, everynight!

Philly after hours at its best. Always great music and amazing staff. 100% go to spot when the night doesnt end at 2am... which is every weekend.

Its smaller than expected. Theres a unisex restroom and after a certain time it gets crowded. Good choices of Music from the DJ.
