Martin Puryears Pavilion in the Trees was built in 1993. Its like going to a tree house without needing the secret password given only to inclusive friends. TIP: Wear a comfortable shoes because you have to walk up a steep hill covered in algae and through paved and unpaved walking path. Another work by Martin Puryear, Big Bling is in Fairmount Park between Fountain Green Dr & Girard Ave Bridge. The Sculpture is up until November 2017

Unmarked, took us an hour to find after amazing park workers drove us to the trail entrance. There are NO signs directing people here. trail was dirty, while passing damaged metal fences. The pavilion was uninspiring especially considering how beautiful the area was around this secret which is best kept secret!
